Tried to use the word "condemned" multiple times to describe my transmission this was to get me to buy into their $700 charge to even determine the problem. I know my transmission is slipping, but no need to try to convince me on that & Couldn't give me a price range for how much it would cost before I spent $700

This location is awesome. I had issues with my AC and with this Texas heat you want to make sure the AC in your car is blowing snow. I dropped off my car and Larry called and advised of the issue in a timely manner. I was also informed about another underlining issue that I was unaware of. He gave me everything in detail of what was wrong with my car and a clear cut price of what it cost to fix.
I picked up my car and the AC is working perfect. He also fixed the oil leak problem I had as well. Larry was upfront and honest and that's the type of people you want working on your vehicle. I am a forever customer for any maintenance regarding my vehicles. Thanks again Larry!

Jay and Larry are the best in the business! Humble AAMCO had my car all fixed up in the same time I was still on the waiting list for the dealership to even schedule the initial diagnostics. My car would have cost too much and traded in at a loss. But these guys saved my car for less than half the cost of estimates from other places that could not do the work but referred me to the dealership. Thank you Larry and Jay! Larry & the guys at AAMCO did a great job with my Tahoe. I took it in after I started noticing some problems and they were quick to identify the issue. They were specific in exactly what all needed to be done, the price was fair, and they completed the work in a timely manner. I would highly recommend AAMCO for any transmission or car work you need done.

My transmission repair came with a warranty, which is rare to find. Larry is trustworthy and sticks to his word. He made every effort to ensure we understood our transmission repair, and he stood by his word and deadlines. My family experienced a death in the family and they went above and beyond to ensure we had transportation. They really treat you like family here.

The manager, Larry, & 1 of his mechanics, showed, & explained everything that was going on with my transmission. He also explained it in common folks language. Larry informed me of several options & routes I could take, financially, warranties, and time wise. I would & will recommend mend them to anyone.

Holy cow this place is pretty awesome dropped off my 04 mustang gt with transmission issues grinding going into third gear and a bad clutch and Larry took awesome care of me and in a timely manner dropped off the car on a Tuesday had the car back the next Monday if you need any work done on your car highly consider this place I highly recommend it

I just move back home from the military and didn't know anybody that I could trust to service my Pathfinder. I found Larry and the guys here in Humble and they serviced my transmission and flushed and changed my coolant, they even went over my whole vehicle and didn't find anything else wrong with it unlike other shops that will lie to you. I even got my truck back later the same day!
The price was fair and reasonable for the amount of work that needed to be done. Thank you Larry and the guys for everything and thank you Aamco! I can now say that I trust Larry and the guys to take all my vehicles to and I won't take any of my vehicles anywhere else! Go to these guys, their awesome! God bless Y'all!

I would think twice before going to this Aamco franchise. We had our vehicles transmission rebuilt and the vehicle was only driven 5500 and it began leaking transmission fluid from the front side of the transmission which require the transmission to be pulled to be replaced. We had moved from the area and was told by the manager to take it to the nearest Aamco to be fixed.
The vehicle had just come out of the 1 year warranty but since it had such low miles driven i was told they would honor the warranty. I thought this was an upstanding young man when he told me this and was very pleased with service. Until they discovered that it was not a "simple" fix. It required an expensive fix. When contact for authorization of payment, they refused to pay due to it requiring more extensive work than what he thought.
I was called a liar by the manager, that he told me that he would honor the warranty. I was also told to shut my mouth when I further pushed the issue of the matter. We asked for the owner to contact us to discuss what his manager had told us, but manager refused to give us the owners name and number or even to leave a message. We were told that we would be dealing only with him.
We were given a deep discount by the station that completed the work because the transmissions work was so shotty and for them refusing to pay for the repairs. I would think twice before using the station in Conway. If so, don't trust their word, because it means nothing and make sure you get everything in writing. I would in fact, not deal with the store manager and go directly to the owner if you have any problems. If you can get to him! We have filed complaints with the BBB! Good luck!
