I brought my car into Gunn Acura for semiannual service. Roland was my service contact. He did a great job from start to finish on my vehicle. I appreciate his respectful and clear communication about the service that needs to be done and pricing. He also made it easy for me to go about my day conveniently while my car was being serviced so that I could keep getting things done. Gunn knocks it out of the park, as always. Car buying is just easier here, my last vehicle was purchased at Gunn and all my future vehicles will be purchased from here. The consistency of the customer experience throughout the entire team is world class. 5 Star service! Roland in the service department was so helpful. He went above and beyond to know the previous service info I had on my car, which helped guide us in the the services my Acura needed. He was not pushy on selling me extra services my car didn't need. Super knowledgeable, treated me like a person and not "just another customer". The shop replaced a part on my car and they did such an amazing job! They need 5 stars as well! It looks brand new again. Thank you Roland and the shop guys in the back.

Mason was very helpful and made sure my wife vehicle was taken care of for service along with the tech Josh that took care of it! Thankfully they still have me great service even though I was 15-20 mins late to my appointment (due to my fault). I do like the online updates on what was needing attention and to see why it was important with quotes. Only thing I would recommend in those quotes if we could get pictures of the actual issue to see; for example dirty filter. Great service and thank you to both Mason and Josh!

I purchased a used car from Gunn Acura, salesman A.J Arreola, the purchase went smoothly and he even delivered the car to my home at my request. The problems started with after the sale customer service, after waiting 22 days I emailed him asking if my registration was in as I was just transferring my plates from my trade in. No reply. On Monday this week I called and the receptionist was very nice and said I will mail it out today (Monday)---by Thursday it still did not come so I emailed AJ again and he actually answered, claiming all his emails have been going to spam and he tried calling me (on a number that was not mine) to say the registration went out last week. Luckily I had copied Internet mgr Peter Holloway on these emails and he apologized for the mistakes and sent a porter to my home with the registration.

Without Peter taking ownership I would still be waiting as the other employees I interacted with did not give me the correct information. This was the first used car we purchased from GunnAcura, we had purchased a new RDX from them but the salesman retired. Summation is ask for Peter Holloway or someone he recommends, not A.J Arreola if you have any plans of buying a car from Gunn Acura. This was a lot of annoyance for a registration that automatically should have been mailed to me.

My used vehicle purchase was completed by an excellent sales and finance team. Adam, my salesman had everything regarding vehicle carfax, inspection reports and service paperwork ready for my inspection. My vehicle purchase was seamless pressure free and fast. I do appreciate that the vehicle I purchased had been fully inspected and all of the service was caught up. Fantastic to see that they are making sure they are selling solid vehicles. Also, nice to have a three month warranty for peace of mind. High marks to everyone at Gunn Acura!

By some reviews, I see there are some that support this dealership, however, our terrible experience with Paul at Gunn Acura was awful and is worth sharing. It completely underlines why SOME car salesmen have the bad reputation that they do. We test drove a TLX on Wednesday and were very interested. Our second car, that we intended to replace with the TLX, was over at Land Rover SA with a fix being wrapped up. Paul reached out to ME by email, two days later on Friday morning, inquiring about our Land Rover.

I let him know that we were heading to Land Rover that day at around three (to sell it to the dealership) and then we'd be right over to Acura. I sent a follow up email inquiring about the warranty left on the TLX and a Car Fax question - and stated again, after he responded, that we'd be in that day (literally a matter of a few hours). On our way to Land Rover SA, I get an email from Paul stating the TLX had sold.

I was shocked and I communicated that. I also felt it was shady business practices. I have several emails from Paul as he continued to handle the situation poorly by justifying it with "we can't hold cars". His excuses continued and no apology was ever issued. It was slick, shady and handled so poorly. I would never recommend this dealership and certainly not Paul, the salesman.

Of note - while we were at Land Rover of SA to sell our SUV we shared our story that had just unfolded with Gunn Acura and they told us that it was their policy to hold a car for the person FIRST interested. Next, we went to Northpark Lexus in SA to test drive (and ultimately buy) a car. I called the dealership prior to heading there to make sure the car was still available.

They confirmed that it was and stated that they would hold it for me (without me asking) and have it washed for our test drive. Vastly different experiences at two other top notch, high end, extremely professional dealerships. I would not take a car from Gunn Acura if they gave it to me for free. I do not recommend spending your money here, you can go elsewhere and be treated like royalty and by people with integrity. We ended up with a beautiful Lexus!

What an awesome car buying experience! Found a car I wanted, went in, test drove it and bought it. No haggling price, no pushy salesman and no going back and forth with the finance manager. Blake got it done quick, fast and in a hurry. Very pleased with his service and professionalism. Will go back if I ever need another vehicle.

Everyone in the service department and the manager were helpful, but if I had gotten good tires put on my car or told that, at the time I bought it, that they were bad tires and very dangerous, I would have bought some good tires. Then it would not have been a problem. I do like the car and so far it has been a good car.

I had a great car buying experience at Gunn Acura. Blake helped me with my purchase and was quick to respond and provide communication even through the busy holiday season. I feel that the deal was very fair and they even let me have the car for 24 hours to test drive and have my mechanic look it over! I took the vehicle back requesting that a couple of small things be done to the car and after everyone agreed, the car was returned spotless (inside and out) to me.

Service advisor (Jose) was great. Very informative and polite. My issue is with the courtesy car wash and vacuum. I shouldn't have to wait 2 hours for that service. If the team cannot perform the service, don't offer it. This is the second time the courtesy car wash and vacuum take over an hour to complete. Makes me not want to go back

The experience was a really pleasant one and I did not feel like I was there forever and just waiting around doing nothing. I HIGHLY recommend GUNN ACURA. Paul Pedraza (ask for him) gave us amazing service, as did Cory (Finance Manager) and their boss Justin. They were all super friendly. they all treated us like family. We couldn't have had a better experience. We got a great trade in value and I got my wife the car she's been dreaming about. What else can I say? Fast service. they had the goods. I'm definitely buying my next car from them.

Update: While my experience a couple of years ago was less than pleasant, my experience this year completely wipe the slate. Blake was professional and really seemed to care. They gave me the highest quote for my trade in. They were able to beat the interest rate on the bank loan I had already acquired by half. Highly recommend Gunn Acura. I will definitely be a return customer. Love my new RDX!

Entire process was easy and smooth, traveled from out of town for a specific vehicle. Did online financing approval and completed apps via email. Salesman Ali was very attentive and easy to work with. Financing agent Corey was very friendly and made the transaction stress free. They also gave me top dollar for my trade in! Will definitely be back for my next vehicle!

I came here to SELL a car rather than buy one. I had been to 3 other dealerships and they kept on low-balling or lying to me. I came here and it was a 180. They took their time to look at my vehicle, drove it around and had me get a 10 day payoff quote. They offered me a more than fair price and less than an hour later we had a deal. When I decide to buy a new car soon they are my FIRST stop.

I absolutely hate going here for service! Every time I go in for an oil change I come out needing thousands of dollars in repairs. Well last time I was there they said my car was leaking oil. So I took it to two other places and they both said my car was not leaking oil. I took it in today for an oil change and guess what! They said it again! I should know better taking my car there but thought I would give it a try. On top of taking two hours for an oil change I will never go back there again! They are so dishonest!

Update: Although the service manager never really got back to me about my prior complaints, I have had positive experience in my recent services and repairs. I like that they posted all of the routine maintenance prices on their website, which are actually not much higher than some independent shops and maintenance part and job quality is definitely better than the generic shops.

I found myself still coming back here for services for my Acura's also because of the convenience of longer working schedules, loaner car, complimentary car wash, and the nice waiting area.

I leased an RDX last July. All around terrible sales process. My lease is significantly higher than market rate (they do not give you a fair price) and on top of that they did not offer me a cargo cover for my trunk. After I noticed I didn't have one, I called back to request one. That seems like a standard item for a $40K leased car. The sales guy said, "Cargo covers don't come with the car. It'll be another $124 for one." YOU JUST LOST A CUSTOMER FOR GOOD. Can't wait for my lease to be over.

Bought a new to us car a couple of weeks ago. The price and car specifics were such a good deal that I didn't hesitate when I found out radio didn't work at signing (wish the sales person would have let us know before we even got to that part). My husband was hesitant even when we were told to just go get it replaced and it wouldn't cost much (it did).

When I left radio place, AC not blowing cold air and even after 3 days at dealership, they finally figured it was because new radio was installed. And that was it; they were upset that they didn't cause the problem. So now my car is sitting in garage because it is way too hot to drive it. I really don't know if I should blame Gunn or the AC place. But I will never buy at Gunn again.

I drove from Austin 1.5 hours to come to this dealership after having issues with both dealerships here in Austin. This trip was worth my time and such a stress relief. Early this morning I spoke to the service director who was so concerned and and willing to help. WOW! Such a difference from the Austin dealerships. Within a few minutes I had a service advisor call me and tell me to come on in and if I needed anything g they had it ready for me.

I get there and what I had asked for they were prepared and had what I needed. I didn't even have to ask! Clean and a smorgasbord of snacks! They figured out what was wrong w my car in a quick 1.5 hr. All their staff was friendly. When I say the 1.5 hr drive is worth it I mean it. From here on out my car will be going there for services. I am so glad I went out there!

My wife and I live in Austin. We were looking for a very specific vehicle.a certified used 2016 Acura MDX SH/AWD with technology.not black not white. Anyway, you get my drift. We tried every Acura dealer in Austin. They did not have the vehicle and I must say the dealerships we went to did not make me feel like selling a car to me was that big a deal.

Enter Coby Allen at Gunn Acura in San Antonio. Since Austin was a dry hole I put out feelers in San Antonio. The evening I first spoke with Coby he had me lock him in on exactly what we wanted. At that point all Gunn had was a black MDX. Coby told me to hang in there and he would try to find our car. The very next day the Gunn team had found the exact vehicle we were looking for! Coby set up an appointment for me to come down.

They actually kept the car aside for me to look at, eliminating the possibility it would be sold before I got down there. I drove to San Antonio. When I got to Gunn I saw the type of Acura dealership I expected. Great inventory, great building and most importantly. GREAT employees. When you hit the door of Gunn people go out of their was to make you feel welcome, but don't make you feel pressured.

The MDX they had found for me looked brand new. I knew I wanted it immediately, but it was now time to make the deal. Gunn is a "one price" shop, so the discounted price you see on the Gunn sticker is what you pay. The intent there is to eliminate that four hour "dance" of haggling over price. I was worried because I thought they would low ball me on my trade, but instead.they gave me the full KBB trade value.

In the end I got a beautiful car, a fair deal and no heartburn. It was well worth my drive to San Antonio and Gunn Acura. Coby Allen and the dealership were a pleasure to deal with. Oh by the way fellow Central Texans.if you live withing 250 miles of Gunn, Coby will personally deliver your car to you.

I would highly recommend this dealer. I went in a few times to test drive the new RDX. I had read tons of great reviews on it and liked it during the test drives and so I went ahead and purchased it. However, once I took it home and used it on my daily commute I realized it just was not the right car for me. My salesperson Graham (who is awesome) called to check up on me a couple days after and I told him my concerns.

It was within Gunn's "48 hour no-hassle return" period so he actually let me take the vehicle back and return it. The entire process was simple and seriously hassle-free. I feel like all salespeople are nice when they are making a sale.but it really shows what kind of company they are when they help you RETURN a car and are still extremely helpful, pleasant and understanding.

When Graham said "we really don't want you to end up in a car that's not right for you" I believed him. I am now looking at the MDX or other vehicle. I might buy an Acura or maybe a different make but I would definitely like to buy a car from Gunn. I am very impressed with their entire business model. I HIGHLY recommend!

High quality experience from beginning to end. I saw a car that wasn't listed yet and called because it met what I was looking for in my dream car. I wanted to walk out with the car that day. Gunn Acura made that happen for me. They cleaned, prepped and inspected the Jeep so I could drive away with my dream car. They gave the best car buying experience.

I was extremely happy with them and their hard dedicated staff. Shout out to Adam, Coby and Justin for all their help. They were amazing. Coby continued following up with me via text after I purchased and that customer service went a long ways. I highly recommend.

I had a great experience buying a certified pre-owned MDX from Gunn Acura. The dealership was detailed and forthcoming about the vehicle. The vehicle was as pristine as a car with 30K miles can be. The car came with two keys (amazing how many used cards only have one) and brand new set of tires. Because it is certified, the car is current in its maintenance schedule. Adding to my experience, the finance guys were able to lower my APR by a point without a downpayment.

The salespeople were low to no pressure. Of course, they offer upgrades (warranty and stain guard, etc) but again, low pressure. Of course, certified cars cost more, but I see value in the extras. I am NOT facing a large expense (new tires and brakes) within the next year and I am getting extra warranty. When I am in the car market again, I will definitely consider taking the 90-minute drive down to San Antionio to buy from Gunn.

Excellent compact SUV Attractive with good features. Price rise of $5,000 for 2019 seems excessive and pushed price to same level as luxury vehicles without their service amenities. Perhaps lack of commission is a disincentive to the sales people. No names, no cards, and behaviour suggested no interest in my purchasing a vehicle. Answers to questions were patronizing. Will try to find a different dealership if I decide to purchase the vehicle.

He was very professional, answered all our questions, and most of all, he was patient. Ali took care of us, and went above and beyond to ensure we were happy customers. My fiance and I came over to Gunn Acura after repeated attempts to contact them from Gunn Buick. The rep at Gunn Buick was amazing. However our experience at Gunn Acura was less than crappy. Gunn Acura had a used car listed on the Gunn website that worked for us. the car was great, we wanted to continue to work with Mike at Buick but he was unable to contact any sales managers at Acura to help out with obtaining the vehicle.

We then drove 20 minutes(more like 40 in traffic) across town to check out the car we wanted. We were then given some misleading info about setting up the sale. You see Mike at Buick had found us the car and went the extra mile to try to obtain it. Josh at Acura however just had to pull it to the front for us to test drive. Josh at Acura proceeds to tell us that he needs my fiance's info for some paperwork( assuring her no credit checks would be run).

Sure enough Josh runs her credit. She was pre-approved you see, through her bank and we did not need a line of credit or the hard inquiry. Josh then proceeds to tell us Mike will get credit(same as him) for the sale. Another lie! We have to interrogate Josh for him to admit Mike will not benefit from the sale he did ALL the work for but that they just planned on sending him a referral check.

Another lie falls from above. We get to finance and there is no plan to help Mike get paid for this at all. Acura is the lowest of scum for this. They say that Gunn employees are not commission based and that allows them not to play games and deal in truths. We experienced the exact opposite. The employees and managers here seem to only be focused on the bottom dollar.

They lie and run your credit without permission, they cheat even other Gunn employees to make a sale and I can only imagine what lies and ways of cheating they have used on other guests in the past. I would never do business with them if I had a choice. I wish we had the money to take them to court for defacing her credit and misrepresenting themselves to obtain a sale.

Wish I could give them negative stars. Pathetic customer service. I went in to look for a used car. The sales guy was helpful, patient. When it was time to meet the manager, Peter Holloway, it completely went on a different note. I was treated as if I was being done a favor. They are in no mood to discuss the price, it was more like "My way or no way". You are left feeling belittled & instantly gives you a feeling your business is not wanted by Gunn Acura. First (and hopefully last) time I'm writing a review as I'm at the place but turns out I have over 45 min of extra waiting time so. As is standard for car service, I made an appt for having my tires rotated and oil changed.and was told 1-1.5 hrs. I made plans accordingly and allotted 2hrs before my next scheduled mtg. Turns out that's not enough.2.5 is the more appropriate allotment and nothing irks me more than no sense of urgency from employees.

On the upside, they told me all the other things were good with my car.which is great since I've recently gotten my tires changed, brakes checked, etc.not through gunn will probably give it another go in the future should I need service.and I really like my acura so if I ever need another, might be good to trust a place.
