Took my Odyssey in for scheduled maintenance. I received a cost estimate and the time it would take. Went to the customer waiting room with my dog; I love dog friendly companies. The customer area has a huge selection of complimentary hot and cold drinks and snacks, including homemade cookies. My car was ready at the estimated time, and the cost was spot on.

If you want a Honda, this is a great dealership. We've bought three here. 6/23/2022: We just purchased a 2022 CR-V EX-L Hybrid because we wanted a more economical vehicle than our Odyssey but with a good amount of storage space. As always, the transaction was easy and pleasant. Jeff Sullivan again was the salesperson. Can't say enough about this dealership which is why we come here from Springfield, IL.

Just disappointed in Matti from the service department. She sounded very annoyed on the phone. My girlfriend and I couldn't believe her tone and attitude when talking to us on the phone. Hopefully she was just having a bad case of the Mondays

Janet was a pleasure to work with and went above and beyond to make sure that our experience at Bob Lindsay was great. We had delays with getting the new order vehicle delivered but Janet kept us up to date and informed on everything as dates changed.

I've spent the better part of the last three decades on showroom floors buying and selling thousands of cars, hiring and training employees and focusing on customer service. This was my first shopping experience as a normal consumer and I wanted to make it quick and simple. Initially I identified 3 vehicles that suited my needs at 3 different local dealers.

I visited each dealer just to inspect and drive the vehicles and had a terrible, shocking experience. One dealer actually refused to show or sell me the vehicle saying that it was sold and pending delivery even though it was sitting on the lot for sale and is still there now. One dealer had the vehicle sitting on the lot with dangerous brakes and refused to acknowledge the situation and would not follow up with me at all.

The other dealer also had the vehicle on the lot with problems (busted windshield) and the salesperson would not follow up with me. Finally, I FOUND A VEHICLE AT BOB LINDSAY HONDA and the staff **JEFF HANNEMAN, MIKE BOWERMASTER, TAMMY COX** were pleasant and cooperative. The car was RETAIL READY, the dealership was very nice and the transaction was professional, simple and a pleasure. NO WONDER THIS COMPANY IS SUCCESSFUL WITH HAPPY EMPLOYEES AND AN OUTSTANDING REPUTATION IN THE COMMUNITY and those other stores are. those other stores. Thank you - woody

Very disappointed in the pricing I was given for my trade trade in for a Ridgeline. I have not made up my mind on the exact vehicle I want but will not ever go back to Bob Lindsey Honda. They were over $4,000 below any other dealer in the area trade in or to just to purchase my car. When I pointed it out they went up $1,500 and that was still over $2,500 under all other offers. Salesman was very nice though but not worth getting a bad deal!

Had an excellent experience buying a used car on a rather urgent basis. Brady Bowen was our professional, attentive, and thorough salesman. Brian Bevill, the business manager made closing the transaction easy peasy. I saw the car at 10:00 in the morning and was driving it out the door by 6:30 that night. Thanks guys!

Purchased my first new vehicle here yesterday. I had a wonderful experience with Chad in sales and Tammy in finance. Chad listened to my wants and needs and never pushed me on higher trims that had features that were not important to me. Very straight forward and honest, no nickle and dime here. I would highly recommend any family or friend go here. Overall great experience.

Buyers beware.this dealership just pulled the classic"bait and switch".offer something then declair they can't do what they promised.very sad, I was directed to them by COSTCO auto sales program.i contacted the sales manager but nothing.next step, a complaint to both costco and the illinois attorney general

These folks are great to deal with. My Civic had the air conditioner compressor go out in the dead heat of the summer. Because of Covid, the parts were back ordered. they were able to get the part before they told me (they under promised, but over delivered). I got cool again! they communicated all the way through, so I always knew the status of my repair. They even gave me a ride to work, which was pretty far away! I highly recommend them!

My 2007 CR-V was totaled by a hit & run driver. I needed a new car fast. I called Scott Schuster and told him what I was looking for, and he hit the nail on the head first try. I picked out my accessories, dealt with my insurance settlement, and he had me in my new car within a week. Tammy Boyd was great helping me keep my payment where I needed it to be. If you want a new Honda, these are the people to see!

I contacted this dealership after seeing an advertised vehicle on Car Gurus. The price was higher than what got me to originally contact them (24K thru Car Gurus but 26900 in their system) but their website said "final price" which I assumed would be the Car Gurus price plus taxes, fees and plates. It was NOT. I live two hours away and since I had some questions, I did the online chat. Melissa emailed me right away and put all the numbers on paper.

After taxes and doc fees and plates, the new number was now 29K. Confused, I asked if their dealership offers perks I have come to expect from dealerships over the years (ie: free oil changes, new tires before delivery, a tank of gas at purchase, etc) which makes it a good deal for the consumer.and Melissa disappeared. Over two hours later, I hit the chat button again and got Jeff who told me he could help me and sent me his bob lindsay email.

I forwarded the last message I sent to Melissa and he replied back that she had left for the day could I come in to testdrive to(day). I told him I am two hours away and would like answers before I make that type of drive. He stated he would get my answers first thing in the morning. An hour after opening, I did get a reply that answered my questions. This car blue books between 24 and 26K so unless they are willing to make a deal, it's just another car on a lot.

Purchased a 2015 Pilot on 6/13/18 from Bob Lindsay Honda and couldn't be happier. I live in Chicagoland area and drove to Bob Lindsay Honda in Peoria to inspect and test drive two used Honda Certified Pilots. Melissa Z. was my online consultant, she sought out answers to all my questions and responded back in a timely manner. She also put a hold on both vehicles while I was in transit so vehicles wouldn't be sold by the time I arrived. Andrew G. was my Sales Consultant while onsite, he went over all the vehicle options, answered all my specific technical questions and test drove the vehicle with me.

The Finance department was painless and took less than 20 minutes. Lastly, the building was new, clean, spotless and had an awesome lounge area to relax in. My overall buying experience at Bob Lindsay Honda was great! I would not hesitate a minute to buy another vehicle from Lindsay Honda and their amazing team.

Love Honda but the service advisor wasn't very friendly and accommodating when we went to have our car serviced. Hoping for better customer service next time. Greeting their customer with a smile specially early in the morning will help.

Traveling to Peoria from Chicago in my Honda Accord, I ran over some debris that came off a truck on the highway. The noise was awful, but the car continued to ride with no noticeable unusual noises, loss of fluids, or performance impact. When I arrived in Peoria I did hear a scrapping sound and assumed I had been dragging my muffler. My visual inspection found a plastic cover hanging down from the "belly" of the car, which I pushed up so that it wouldn't drag.

There was some additional noise that made me realize I needed to check if the car was safe to drive. It was 3:30, and I called Bob Lindsay Honda asking if they could "put the car up" and ensure it was safe to take back to Chicago. Jen said they would be happy to take a look and I should drive over. 20 minutes later I arrived. Jen took my info and asked me to have a seat in what was the nicest waiting room I had ever seen. Rooms to accommodate families, phone charging stations, Internet access, TV's, and plenty of snacks and water. Janet was very friendly.

At about 5:30, Jen told me the car had a bent exhaust pipe, a broker cover, and a piece that was sheared off, that I assume was a exhaust support bar. She said the service crew had cleaned up any loose parts and ensured everything was secure and that the car was safe for a 3 hour highway ride back to Chicago. They did not have the parts in stock, but provided me a document with the needed parts, which I could take to my local Honda dealer for final repair.

When I asked for how much I owed them, she said there was no charge. My jaw dropped. I am sure they spent more than a few minutes examining the car and cleaning up the damage. I am used to shops charging a diagnostic fee and time spent, so I was totally caught off guard with nothing given me but a no charge document, a smile and well wishes for a safe ride home. My sincere thanks to Jen, Janet, and the rest of the Bob Lindsay Honda team for making me feel like I was a valued customer despite me being from out of town.

I went in to look at a few used Honda Civics. They directed me to a Hybrid, which I loved. They called me the next day, as I was there toward closing time the evening before, to tell me I had been approved for a car loan and to come in to sign some papers. I made sure to ask over the phone if it was really an approval that had gone through, and I was told that that was the case.

Once I arrived to go through the details, I discovered this wasn't true and they tried a bait-and-switch on me. I left, and had a great experience at Mike Murphy in Morton a few days later. They got my business and my money.

Nice new lobby and super friendly people. Don't let them fool you- they're not your friends. And that lobby didn't pay for itself. I brought my Honda in for a repair estimate on a burned out clutch. Online estimates for this repair are $600-900. They quoted me $1800. What?! Then, when I said I would have to take some time to figure out how to pay for that insane quote, they charged me a $50 service charge (to tell me what I already knew was wrong with my car).

The bottom line is this- if you're no longer under warranty, there is no reason to go to the dealership for service/repair. Go elsewhere. Support a local mechanic or do it yourself.

Purchased a used 2008 Accord. Completed the deal over email. Drive to view the car and it was as described for the most part. Larry Cook was great to work with. They (not Larry) pushed the extended warranty too much but I can say no easily. Overall, good experience; wish the dealer near me was as good!

I took a test drive with Kirk and it was easily the best test drive I've ever had. He wasn't pushy or cheesy and he made feel feel right at home. The drive was fun and he really knew his stuff. We got back to the dealership and I had to be somewhere, and he let me go without being a jackass about it. He was patient as it took me a month before I could get back in, but Once we went over the numbers, we decided it might not be the best time to trade my car in.

I couldn't believe that a dealership would let me walk away like that without taking my keys hostage and tying me up I'm a dark room until I bought a car. They really earned my trust and gave it to me straight. In the future ill definitely be back. Ask for Kirk. He knows what's up.

I tend to be leery around any and all mechanics. Maybe it is because I am a woman, but I always feel like they're out to rob my firstborn of their college savings.they can sense I don't know much about cars and see dollar signs shining over my head, as they charge this sucker for repairs that are really not necessary. I had to have some minor work done to my car to find out the cause of a pesky SRS light (nothing says "comfort" like wondering if you're airbags will deploy when you really need them - eek!) My husband and I decided to take my Honda do the dealership, and I couldn't be happier.

Not only did they fix my SRS issue (and for a reasonable price, I might add), but their customer service was impeccable. While standing in the shop sans hubby, I actually felt.comfortable.hold on - did I just say that? I must be sick or something. But it's true. They were nice! And they didn't make me feel like an idiot for not knowing much about cars.

They even answered my questions - go figure! Plus, they offered me coffee when I first arrived, gave me a free shuttle ride down to my job (the driver was very friendly and grandfatherly), and even washed my car! I was so confused to see my car sparkling when I picked it up. I know I keep my car clean, but it was cleaner than it was when I left it. Now that's some customer service!
