My first time having service at a Casey Service Center. I am very impressed with the service and personnel at the Subaru Service Center. I felt like a celebrity. I drove up to the garage door and they took my car from there. If had rained, I wouldn't have gotten wet. The waiting room is nice-comfy seats, TV, complimentary snacks and drinks, free WiFi, a table to work if needed, and complimentary digital magazines. One of the best service experiences I've had in a long time.

SCAM ALERT. The service department here is the a prime example of why a lot of people do not trust dealership service departments. I had my vehicle at another Subaru dealer a few weeks ago and everything was good to go. I bring my Subaru here while traveling and I am told that there are a number of issues and my vehicle is unsafe to drive. (They actually made me sign something saying that before they would release my vehicle when I refused to let them do over $2,000 of work on my car).

When I asked to speak to the actual technician, he told me I needed to have a certain part installed. When I told him it was already there, his response was "Oh." Then he turned and walked away without another word. After this most unprofessional encounter, I took my vehicle to another shop on the chance something was actually wrong. Their diagnosis "there is absolutely nothing wrong with this vehicle".

They were so blown away by Casey Subaru and their B.S. that they didn't even charge me for the inspection. I will never recommend anyone go to Casey for anything. This experience has made me question going back to a Subaru dealer ever.

After some bad experiences at Casey Subaru years ago, I started buying my cars and getting service in Richmond. With a time crunch, I decided to give Casey service another shot. I was very pleasantly surprised. It was easy scheduling an appointment online. Dominik was great to work with and I loved getting notified with text and having access to my invoice. I'll return.

My husband and I have purchased many cars over the years and have dealt with many salespeople. We had the fortunate opportunity to deal with William Hawley while he was assisting our son, returning to the U.S. after an overseas deployment. William was amazing. His main concern, in his words "to have a satisfied customer." He went out of his way to make sure everything was to our son's satisfaction.

All companies have customer service training -- "The customer is always right." "Treat everyone like you want to be treated." "Always smile and be courteous." William went above and beyond. He truly loves his job. Be sure to ask for him when you go into Casey Subaru and you, too, will have a great experience.

DO NOT BUY OR DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP! My now wife bought a car back in 2020 and she declined the extended warranty but was somehow was still charged for it. She went back to rectify the issue and filed paperwork to get it removed the very next day. She still has proof of it and a picture of the guy that helped her. 2 years later, the issue still has yet to be resolved.

After speaking with the dealership on multiple occasions they have ensured time and time again that they will take care of the issue and has yet to do so. Paul Clark initiated the paperwork twice and it was never rectified. Dave Catalan, asked us to email him and he would make sure the paperwork got submitted and would return our phone call with updates.

He didn't do anything of the sort. Recently, we spoke to Cameron (Supposedly a manager which I believe we were lied to about this by him and Samantha) and Samantha, who ensured this issue would be taken care of and Cameron went as far as telling us he would send us a email with the information we spoke about and we received nothing. Every-time we call or come to the dealership, the financial managers and general manager are not available.

We were told they would give us a call back and they never do. This is unacceptable. As much money as we spend simple mistakes like this should not occur from a multibillion dollar company. This is how this dealership treat veterans and active duty military. I will be filing a complaint with the base and let them know about what's been going on at this establishment.

You know those horror stories of car dealerships and garages scamming people based on their gender? This place takes that one step further with their insidious incompetence. I brought my car in for a free inspection last year. The same day I picked it up, (and after them gushing about how great of shape the car was in) I noticed it started to rattle anytime I'd accelerate over 60 mph.

I thought nothing of it. One year later, I bring it back for another inspection, mention the rattling and tell them its gotten worse over time. An hour later, the guy (male, glasses, sits at the first desk in the garage) tells me its my LR shock and that he failed my inspection because of it. Also throws in that it's about $800 to fix and I should "do both for balance." He then disappears to the back to prepare my paperwork and I call a different shop that my husband regularly uses.

They tell me its unusual for a shock on a newer car to be so bad it fails inspection and even more unusual for a shock to cause rattling. So I leave Casey Auto and take my car to the other place. They tell me there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with my shocks. NOTHING. AT. ALL. They then find the actual root cause of the rattling- its my CV axle/joint.

They pass my inspection, fix the rattling in a single day, and tell me that Casey Auto was so far off that it had to have been purposeful, and I should call the state police and report them. Even more hilariously, Casey Auto called me a day or so later asking if I wanted to schedule the services they previously recommended (by the way, they added a bunch of other stuff on top of the BS shock issue) and I explained that I brought it to another place which disproved everything Casey Auto said.

The actual response from the Casey Auto rep on the phone was "Wait, we failed you on a SHOCK? And quoted you HOW MUCH?" So, even Casey Auto's employees are surprised by their own garage's incompetence. The man I spoke to on the phone was very respectful and told me he understood why I'd never want to bring my car back to this place. However since then, more Casey Auto reps have called and left voicemails asking to schedule services. You might be okay purchasing a car from this place, but if you love your car and want it to last, don't bring it back once you drive it off the lot.

First time to purchase a Subaru. Casey Subaru was super accommodating. Offered us any of the vehicles to test drive which made the decision easier. Wound up ordering the vehicle which took about 9 days. The Casey staff was great. We were very fortunate to get Willie Lewis who made sure all our interests and concerns were answered. He made several calls to update us on progress.

The finance/closing officer was Nick Ehmann. His warm personality made you feel like you had known him for a long time. His explanation and closing instructions were very thorough. Yes, U would recommend Casey Subaru. Its a smaller shop but with BIG customer service feel. -Kevin S.

The Casey people were awesome. There were challenges more damage than estimated and because of the current situation in the country difficulty getting parts. But they were upfront and kept me informed of what the status was and what was going on. Don't want to have something happen to my vehicle again but if it did I would not hesitate to have Casey to do the repair.

This was my first time using Casey Subaru. Based on the speed and accuracy of the service I will be a returning customer. The wait room was very clean and stocked with waters and snacks while we wait. My attendant was helpful in explaining an issue I was having when openning my SUV trunk. He even went to demonstrate. Friendly staff. I had a great experience.

I sold cars for over ten years And I do not like having to go to a dealership, bur we went on a tri, and we realized my Subaru needed wheel barrings. The thought of having to take it to a dealer sucked. Especially because we were on a mini vacation. However I have to say this. Casey Subaru was great. Thomas our service adviser took very good care of us.

They gave me a rental cause they did not have the parts I needed. No one in the sales department tried to approach me to make "small talk" and try to get me to trade my ride. Now I know the sales manger and GM might not agree. But I loved just being left alone while I waited. Thank you Casey Subaru/ Volkswagen.

This place is ridiculous. Don't walk, run away from them! Their lack of communication is appalling. The only thing they care about is money, but not if you want to pay cash for a car. They want to rope you into financing through them if it's possible even after they take you to the cleaners on a vehicle price! Stay far, far away.

I bought a new VW here over a year 1/2 ago. They lost the second key before I owned it and were in the process of ordering a new one for me. Four keys have since been ordered that were unusable because they were cut wrong, and there have been several times in-between they said they ordered a new key but never called back about it. When I called to follow up they had not been ordered.

I finally talked to several managers which took several days to even get a call back and explained the predicament and they assured me they had sent a claim about the key issue and that the next one should be fine. Fast forward to now and this last key still had the same problem. I talked to another manager and he didn't have any answers to why they kept getting unusable keys or any guarantee that the next one would work. It's been over a year and a half and I still only have one key.

They don't seem to keep any record of the larger problem going on so I have to explain this to each person I talk to and still haven't gotten a resolution. Their best advice was to just call the VW hotline, which at this point seemed like they were just passing the problem on to someone else. They also assured me they would have another manager call me back about the key issue, and of course I have not been called back yet.

This is unreasonable at this point and I've never had worse customer service anywhere. They are rude, unorganized, condescending, have extremely bad communication, gave me no resolution to the problem or follow through, and they are hard to get in touch with. At this point, I'm going to be forced to go somewhere else and pay out of pocket for a very expensive key they were obligated to give me.

This is not a complaint about a one time issue, but continued bad service over a year 1/2 that has been beyond frustrating. I love my car but I really regret buying from this dealership.

I purchased a 2014 Mitsubishi Lancer from here I had the CVT fluid replaced here, after experiencing problems with my transmission I went to the Mitsubishi dealership whom discovered Casey put Automatic transmission fluid instead of the correct CVT fluid, I brought it to the service departments attention, . Whom by the way was very professional, he forwarded the info to his boss whom concurred I should get refunded the $430 I spent for the service, however after several weeks I was only refunded, less than half.

I talked to Mike the service manager to inquire why I was not reimbursed the full amount. he stated he was surprised and would look into this, well has been over a month since and still not even a phone call from whom ever to explain to me why. This could have caused catastrophic damage to my transmission not to mention I paid Mitsubishi dealership (much less than what Casey charged) to put in the correct fluid.

I am puzzled as to why I have been treated like this. I was not even mad about the mistake I am an engineer and understand these things happen, but all I received was less than half of what I paid for the wrong fluid to be put in my car whom I bought from them! Wow and to think I was considering purchasing a new vehicle. From Casey in the future. All I receive is a check in the mail after about six weeks of less than Half what was owed not even a sorry sir for our mistake and your inconvenience, very disappointed with this.

Very briefly, purchased a Subaru from Casey Auto group nearly 9 years ago and it was such a bad experience I swore I would never deal with them again. Fast forward to 2019, wife fell in love with a Volkswagen GTI, agreed to a price with a handshake and a $1000.00 deposit to pick up the car the next day only to be called on the drive home to be told they made a mistake and could not honor the deal! Tried to get another $500.00 dollars out of me.

These dealerships are unscrupulous, lack any sort of business ethics and have not changed in the past 9 years. Do not trust these people! At least not the sales managers. These are bad characters. Spend your money elsewhere, they are dishonest at best! Too bad zero stars is not an option!

If I could post 0 stars, I would. I put a $500 deposit on a car on Saturday, made an appointment to see the car for 2 days later, drove an hour and a half from out of town to see the car and purchase it on site which turns out was sold on FRIDAY. Not a single employee realized the car had been sold, and they called me 15 minutes before I showed up asking when I would be in to see the car.

I called back to say I was on my way, so they were waiting for me to come in. Needless to say, they had endless trouble finding the car because it was gone. They attempted very little to make up for it and seemed to not really care to do anything other than profusely apologize. Terrible experience, I will strongly recommend against using this dealer for any potential vehicles in the future.

Brought my Volkswagen here last week. They have been calling me bugging the hell out of me to pick it up for about 5 days. I get here to pick it up and they did not complete all services. I was told it would take an hour to do the oil change. Hour half later still waiting.

I bought a VW Jetta from Jeremy at Casey Volkswagen. I received exceptional customer service throughout my entire car buying experience and got a great price for my trade. Jeremy was a great sales consultant. He was low pressure but also very willing to answer any questions I had. I highly recommend checking out Casey Volkswagen - be sure to ask for Jeremy!

We tried to give Casey a chance to make right on their poor service. We went to the service department for our oil changes, tire changes, etc. Once again we were given poor service. We went for our annual inspection. our car was in great shape when we dropped it off. three service technicians walked around my car with me to make notes of work needed.

I recieved a call later that day to come pick up my car because it failed inspection. No reason given. When I got there. MY WINDSHIELD WAS CRACKED. seriously, cracked! They tell me it failed because its cracked. I explain that it wasnt cracked when I dropped and the notes should indicate that, etc etc. So he calls me old. he says, "maybe the crack is hard for you to see because you're old".

The service tech says he is going inside to get more paperwork. and instead LEFT! Like, got off work, clocked out, and left. Never said anything. Another technician came outside, I stop her and tell her I'm waiting for the previous guy.she tells me he just drove off, I then show her the crack.she remembers me from my drop off and confirms that it wasnt cracked at that time.

She starts taking down notes. then I open my front door and some of my things are MISSING. She and I search my car.no sign of my personal affects. I'm so shocked. she continues making notes. Meanwhile it's getting late and the service dept is now closed. So she PROMISES me the manager will call me the next morning. NO ONE CALLS. I call repeatedly for 2 weeks, the manager refuses to call me back or take my call.

I live over an hour from this dealership. I go down there, wait for over 2 hours.manager is still unavailable. I filed a police report for the theft and damage. I cannot believe this place!

Visited Casey Subaru on 3/11/2018 at approximately 4:30Pm to look at a few Subaru models I was researching prior to buying a new Honda accord. Now, I have purchased three vehicles from casey dealerships over the past ten years and was surprised by my experience. This may amaze anyone who has been to almost any car dealership but there were no sales people to be found, the lobby had zero employees.

I was wondering if they were closed and forgot to lock the doors when I was approached by an employee passing through the showroom who said he was with a customer but would find someone to help. Fifteen minutes later, nothing, never even saw an employee again. Casey Subaru I won't beg you to take my money. You get two thumbs down on this one.

I recently bought a car from this place. Overall, it was a good experience, certainly among the top few dealerships that I visited in the area while doing my car search. I stopped in, looking to test drive a BRZ. They didn't have a single one with an automatic transmission, nor could they find one in the area. (In their defense, this car is a bit hard to find.

I ended up driving to Virginia Beach to test drive the Toyota 86, which is a cross-platform clone of the BRZ). I was also interested in Camaros, and they just happened to have a nice used one for a decent price. My dealer was Felix. I really thought he did a good job, mostly due to the fact that he was very laid back. He was accommodating and put zero pressure on us to buy, which I liked.

There were a few questions about the car that he couldn't answer right away, but what can you expect buying a Chevy from a Subaru dealer. To be thorough, I went over to Casey Chevrolet to see if they could compete with the Camaro over at their Subaru dealer. This was the WORST experience I had during my whole car search. You can read my review about that over on their page. So, I went back to Casey Subaru and made an offer on their Camaro.

I was a bit put off that they wouldn't haggle with me at all. I ended up talking them down by a whopping $116. Even so, it was a way better deal than I could have gotten at Casey Chevrolet. While my dealer experience with Felix was nice and laid back, they definitely will hard-sell you on the paint treatment and extended warranty. This was kinda irritating. Furthermore, I'm pretty sure the finance guy artificially ran up the interest rate on my loan so that he could later lower it as a bargaining tool to get me to buy the extended warranty. That was enough to knock this review down by a whole star. Anyway, post-purchase, they've done a decent job with the customer service.

I just drove home in a 2018 Outback from Casey Subaru. From initial ordering through delivery, it was an excellent experience. While my impression is that you couldn't go wrong with any of the friendly employees there, I found it particularly pleasant to deal with their salesman Clayton Moats. From agreeing on cost, through delivery, he made the entire experience a pleasure. Clayton's a real gentleman, knows his stuff, and knows how to treat a customer.

He even came to my home in Williamsburg to drive me to Casey on the day of delivery. The whole delivery process took a while, but that was mostly because Clayton gave me such a thorough briefing on all the bells and whistles on the new Outback (there are many). Overall enjoyable experience.

Clayton was very nice to work with as was the lady upfront who returned my deposit. Unfortunately that's where the good stops. I was in talks about buying a new Outback for a few weeks. I get a call on Saturday night and they agree to meet me at the price I wanted to pay out the door (after title, fees, and tax) so they could meet their sales quota.

I spoke with 3 people in sales during that deal. THREE people, including the manager who all agreed to sell me the car for my out the door price. I put down a deposit since it was an order and waited for the car to arrive. Tuesday evening the car arrives but am told there is problem with the paperwork. Long story short, they backed out of the deal that 3 of their employees promised me (including a manager), stating that they wouldn't let the car go for that much.

When I asked how the mistake was made they chalked it up to "miscommunication". When I came in to receive my deposit back I got what seemed like the old bait and switch tactic. Travis, I'm assuming a manager, was quick to talk in a condescending tone, interrupt me, and try to talk over me when I simply said that I was having a hard time believing there was miscommunication between 3 employees all on the same deal and that I would be taking my money to do business elsewhere.

Either the managers at Casey Subaru don't know what "out the door" means or they are purposely engaging in shady business practice by backing out of a done deal to try and upsell once more. Or both. Either way, I will not be returning.

Everyone should be aware of the scam/rip off this dealer poses. Especially Veterans. This dealerships proximity is close to a lot of military and veterans. I happen to be one. Well I wanted to buy a new WRX, when I got to the dealer I expected to receive high pressure, this was something else entirely. I asked the salesperson for a test drive, the salesperson insisted that we drive the car across the lot to the salesperson's office first.

The salesperson drove and would not let me drive until we talked some numbers. I reluctantly went, but only because this was all told to me after we were in the car, when I thought that we were gonna pull the car off the lot to let me drive elsewhere. (Bait and switch) Anyway, in the office, the salesperson literally demanded my DL and my CC to "show" good faith, this was before we even spoke about the price of the car.

I should add, I have bought many cars and this is an old old scam used to get you to come back to the dealer after their high pressure, disrespectful team fails on some to get them to buy. I was stern and told the salesperson I was leaving if they did not want to discuss the price of the car. So the salesperson went on to tell me that because the car was a new model and grey in color(apparently highly desirable) that the car was priced $10,000 over the MSRP!

I am a veteran, these crooks were trying to take me for a ride. At this point, the salesperson has insulted my intelligence and I am completely disgusted with this dealer and its customer service. The sales manager came over to try and pitch why it was 10k over MSRP and can you believe that he did not care that I was a veteran or that I was calling them out on their scam.

I told the manager and the salesperson that i was completely offended and they should be ashamed of themselves for attempting to take military, veteran and civilians for complete idiots. I am sure they have duped folks before as they were very comfortable telling me and trying to convince me. It's ludicrous. I am writing this review so that everyone will know what a bunch of losers this dealership is owned by.

I would never send someone here or give them a single dollar. Not even for a charity, as they'd probably steal the money from the fundraising themselves. seriously. You should also know, my experience there was about 4-6 months ago. That should tell you how badly I was treated before, during my visit and afterwards for me to still want to write a review this long afterwards. If they wanted to make a fair living, that's one thing but ripping off the same people who protect their daily freedoms; they should have more respect.

I hate to say that I am so extremely disappointed with Subaru, and especially with this dealership. This is my second Subaru I have purchased, first one from Casey. My experience is less than satisfying. I have a giant headache over this whole experience and I am sorely disappointed. In late September, my boyfriend and I went to go look into our second Subaru purchase.

When we arrived, it was shy of 6:30 and we waited a solid 30 minutes for a sales person to greet us. It was a little late in the evening, so we understood. My first words out of my mouth to our sales man was that I was looking at trading my 2013 WRX in for a 2017 WRX. I was completely ignored, and they took care of my boyfriend first, even though, the only reason we were there was for me.

I was upset, I am a Subaru brand ambassador (yes they knew) and I was really upset that they treated me so poorly. Not even as an ambassador, but as customer as well. The next morning we came back and expressed our concerns that we had with them the night prior and they fixed it and made me feel comfortable and even played a good game of bargaining with me.

I had expressed that I had Suffolk Subaru looking for a 2017 WRX for me as well, and this was really a game of who can provide me with the best deal I can get. Unfortunately I stayed with Casey, when I knew in my heart that I shouldn't have. Fast forward a few days, they located the car I wanted in North Carolina and per dealer rules, if it was less than 500 miles away they would drive it to Casey.

So on top of my already upsetting experience, my brand new car has 230 miles on it. Whatever, ya deal with it. The purchase goes through smoothly, added some parts to my loan, because I thought that would be the best way for me to go about it. I drive home with a fat smile in my new WRX. Roughly two months go by, it is now November 15th, I have already contacted the parts counter about my parts order.

They couldn't find it, so they transferred me to my salesman, he said he would do what he can to locate everything for me. Another week or so goes by, I have not heard from him either. I email him and he gets back to me the morning after stating that these parts were never ordered, but yet some how factored into my loan, and that I am paying for.

He replaces the order for me and states they will be in by the end of the week (11-7 between 11-12) No parts, No email, just made my very first payment on things I do not even own and I am beyond infuriated. Now that I have emailed Travis, the business manager. I have also contacted Subaru Of America to have this situation rectified. Update Travis has since called me back and has gotten everything taken care of. Little less stress off my shoulders.

Definitely don't trust this dealership for pricing via internet requested specific car with specific features sent me quote back with price and features listed, so then talk to sales mgr Paul to purchase vehicle he stated they made a mistake and wanted to charge me $3000 more. Shady place to do business go somewhere else

They are crooks. Maybe a handful of employees are honest if that. They wanted over $3000 just to change by brake pads and calipers. Knowing a little bit about cars myself, I took my 09 STI in because 4th gear would grind because of the synchronizer and they wouldn't even look at it unless I could get it to grind for them (and I did). They failed to mention that I literally had to make it grind as if I shifted without the clutch.

Since I didn't want to mess up my transmission even more I could only feel a slight grind in the shifter and they refused to even keep the car and test drive it themselves. Also, they apparently don't know the proper bolt torque for anything. STAY AWAY. You will spend less in repairs while voiding your warranty. THEY ARE CROOKS! Oh yeah, my tps (tire pressure sensor) broke and they told me to take my car some place else.

We were here for a total of about 15 minutes checking out the Subaru XV Crosstrek right smack dab at the front of the lot, directly in front of the building. Nobody came to talk to us, it was disappointing. I like it better when the salespeople swarm like bees.
