Born of a West Texas cattleman, Cecil Atkission is truly a son of Texas. Even as a young man, Cecil earned a reputation for his work ethic. The cattle and livestock freight business was core to his family, and he grew up in the thick of it. Cecil's family values still serve him well to this day. After serving in Vietnam, Cecil developed his passion for the automotive industry and began a career with Capitol Chevrolet in Austin, Texas. Quickly he rose through the ranks of sales and management until he and his wife Nancy set out on their own with a dealership in 1982.

My salesperson Gabby Alexander was extremely outstanding and went the extra mile to make sure the vehicle I purchased was safe and working properly! She answered any questions and stayed in contact during to whole process! I couldn't have asked for a better sales person! The staff was fantastic, even the sales person next to her desk that I was not working with was friendly and nice to converse with.

So far you have bent over backwards to get me my new truck at my convenience. I'm very glad I found this dealership. I live over 200 miles from Kerrville and they offered to deliver the truck to me at no charge so I wouldn't have to drive that far. I would highly recommend Cecil Atkission Motors to anyone looking for a new vehicle.

My Dad has bought his trucks for the past 20 years. This was my 1st time visit. David in the service department was great! He stayed in contact with me the whole time my vehicle was in for service and maintenance work. Very accommodating with the pick up. I will definitely use them again and let my family and friends know! Awesome Customer Service!

READ THIS BEFORE GETTING SPARE KEYS MADE. I lost my Chevy Tahoe keys and called for assistance at Cecil Atkins Motors. I was told it would cost $850.00 for a spare key made. And a towing fee. They would have to program it. I called AAA. AAA then they contacted a fellow that was nice and courteous. It was done in 40 min. I had a new key with the fob for $208.00.
He came to where the auto was located. I suggest AAA Platinum. It's not that much for one year considering the headache one goes through when being stranded only once. STRESS. There may be a circumstance one needs to go there to have it done at the dealership. I, nor my family have any ties or contact with AAA other than subscription renewals. It's worth it.
I wonder why they would charge so much more? It is wrong. I'll take integrity with humbleness any day. BTW, I have purchased my last 3 "nice" autos from them. Cecil or whomever, you've lost my business. Tootles.

The service person and repair person not only rotated the tires, changed the oil, topped erverything off but also found a washer part missing. Now that is fantastic service. I would not have found hat problem until some messy/rainy day. I could have had a serious wreck. Thank you for staying on top of everything.

This was most definitely (without a doubt) the best experience I have had at ANY dealership throughout my history of purchasing vehicles. Not only was Nathan Whitt knowledgeable, he was extraordinarily kind, helpful, and all around pleasant to be around. He made me feel welcome, and also dealt with the various tasks that I had him jump through without making me feel overwhelmed. -From decision making, to finance changes- he was there every step of the way.
I felt at the end of the purchase, I wasn't rushed / bombarded / or forced which is how I have felt during other purchases in the past from other dealerships.
