Noticed today my 2018 TLX has peeling paint around the rear window. I had a 2015 TLX that had the same issue. Called the service dept at Criswell, and they told me to call Acura Customer service, customer service told me sorry it's out of warranty. Spoke to James Walker Sales Manager he said sorry but we didn't build the car, not our fault. Then he asked do you want to trade it in and get another TLX.

Two cars with the same issue and I'm told it's not the dealership's fault we didn't manufacture it, you're on your own but we will let you trade it in. I'm stunned by the response. Thought you should know the treatment I've received. The car only has 22,000 miles on it, this is my fourth Acura since 2006.

I bought a pre owned Audi A4 from Criswell Acura/Audi's pre owned department. In my many years of purchasing vehicles, this was by far the best experience I've had. Alan Hannon the pre owned sales manager and Vance my sales person made the process as seamless as possible. The finance manager was also incredibly professional. He didn't pressure me, allowed me to go check other dealerships without being rude, and in the end I returned and he gave me a great deal on my trade-in along with other incentives that brought my payment right where I wanted it to be. 100% would recommend working with Brandon again.

This is my second Acura I have purchased from Criswell Acura. Both times Sandra Massey was my salesperson. Sandra provides exceptional service and it very patient. I was undecided as to which truck/car I wanted to purchase. Sandra took the time to explain all the features. I would definitely recommend Sandra and Criswell if you are looking to purchase an Acura.

Brought our 2011 Acrua RDX in for a driver's side headlamp repair, blown HID components. They fixed the components, but it only lasted a week. Car was as usual filthy with grease all over the door panels. There has not been a single time in our 9 year history of service that this vehicle was returned to us without grease stains all over the door panels, kick plates, carpets, steering wheel, or control knobs.

I complained to the manager David Haines, yet AGAIN to no avail. He didn't even seem like he cared or even remembered me. More like I was annoying him. What a surprise less than 2 weeks later same lamp side blew out. Brought it in again, this time they said the lens was cracked and insinuated that I did something to it this time. I do believe it was cracked the first time(which I would have said replace it then).

I brought it in due to all the moisture in it, but they didn't say it was cracked, so they didn't replace it, even though I asked. Well this time, they said it was cracked and the HID components blew AGAIN! Morons! Beside the fact the freakin "lightbulb repairs" are now over $2,500. You read it right. I wasn't perturbed about that as much as I was when I picked up the vehicle again and you guessed it grease all over the rocker panels, after I spoke to John Sarabia, the customer service rep, and told him that I didn't want to see grease on the car when we picked it up.

He told me that he checked it himself this time and it was clean and ready to go. I am guessing it's my own fault. We bought this SUV there 9 years ago and brought it back for every single service except tires (Costco's the best) and brakes (I do myself due to fear of their ineptness). And yet every time, grease, grease and more grease. Repeat after me "After the warranty is up, never ever, ever never, never never, ever ever bring the car to the dealer! Why?

You can pay half the price and get just as bad service from a local shop. But if you are lucky enough to find a good local shop, you will be better off in the long run forever. I learned my lesson with my old BMW, found an awesome shop that had my business to the end of its life. Will keep the RDX for one last year, then will probably look for a better service department, before we even buy something new. It won't be an Acura, that's for sure, as they have soured us on the whole brand now.

Would give 0 starts if possible. Vance and Alan are a bunch of clowns and couldn't sell water in the Sahara Desert. This place is shady, dishonest, and has terrible customer service. Acura's (and Honda's) generally sell themselves, but these two jokers mess that up with ease. Vance and Alan are both abrasive, rude, condescending, and ruin deals that are served up on a silver platter. Their loss.have fun re-parking those cars, Vance.

Excellent experience. I flew in from Chicago to buy a hybrid MDX and it was the smoothest car buying experience ever. Vance made the entire process very easy especially since I came from out of town. I would recommend them to anyone even outside of Annapolis.

We wondered in around 7:30 pm on December 30th, my son earlier that day totaled my car, he's ok, I needed a good used car that night. We tried three other dealerships, but no luck. John, our sales guy was spot on. He showed us three vehicles that were in my price range. We test drove two and settled on my 2014 white VW golf, with HEATED SEATS! The only problem was we had to go to the Audi store for financing.

Their finance guy had a family emergency, I didn't enjoy that at all. My son and I wanted to look at the race car on the showroom floor but we're ushered away like we were the poor cousin's across the tracks. We sat there for over an hour, no one talked to us. It was well after 9 before we saw the young lady in finance. She was great, because most of the paperwork had been filled out at the used car dealership we were done quickly! My good mood was returned. John was great! The guy who filled out the paperwork was great, the lady in finance was great! And I love my new to me car!

It took me a while to update this review. I've come for oil changes mostly but recently I've started to purchase parts as I typically prefer OEM brand parts. I always research in advance and come with any notes and or prices I find online so that I can determine which deal is best. On multiple occasions I have worked with Matt and Scott whom are great in the parts department therefore my review for Parts is a 5 out of 5.

If they can't beat your price they are sure to provide their best price before you ending your interaction. Typically I prefer to have my brakes and rotors installed elsewhere as the price for the service typically exceeds my speed level. Every service advisor is not as pleasant to work with but I could recommend Ian and Austin if you need a starting point. I've had some pretty weird interactions with other service advisors so for service advisors I'm going to have to give a 6 out of 10.

Front end and waiting area have been improved, it does get a little crowded at times but for the most part it's comfortable, the wifi is fast, the waters and juice are plentiful. The key is to pay with debit if you want a discount.not much but it's something. I will continue to try to improve those stars.it will just take a while.

O'my; first of all I just stopped into Criswell Acura to test drive a ACURA MDX for the first time; we were looking at and had test drove two different SUV'S, a Buick Enclave and GMC Acadia! My husband had been researching SUV's for many months and seen that the two other ones had some major problems and said, I think we should stick with a Honda because we've had so much good luck with our Honda Accord for 12 years and you should check the ACURA!

From the time I walked into CRISWELL of Annapolis I felt welcome and all my questions were answered above and beyond! My salesman Brandon Stanley was so knowledgeable of the MDX and surly made me realize this is the safest SUV for me! So after doing some negotiating with their awesome Sales Manager, Lamont Randall, I'm a proud owner of a brand~new~beautiful MDX ACURA 2020! Criswell in Annapolis, Maryland is one dealership that is top notch in kindness, knowledgeability, loyalty and is very helpful in making a girls dreams come true! You surely GOTTA CHECK them out before you buy!

Avoid. There are some personable sales people here, however, we did not get one. We intended to look around, perhaps get a test drive and be on our way. Instead, we were sort of kept hostage for 2.5 hours. Acura's one draw is the reliability. The interior, features and drive are not up to par with the competition bringing in superb features. (see Volvo Annapolis) The interiors are unbeatable. We've seen BMW, Ford, Maserati, Porsche, Mercedes, Audi, Alfa Romeo, Toyota, Infiniti, Lexus and Volvo is still #1.

We really gave Acura a fair shot but the sales people made the decision NOT to get an Acura easy. The answer to the question of can we do something to make you buy today is no, the car and the sales people should speak for themselves, particularly when a timeline has already been given. I fully understand that some outside pressure is put on sales people to meet certain sales goals, however, for us, this pressure being put on us means that we will not be getting an Acura likely ever. Certainly not from this location. Steer clear. HA! get it? STEER clear.

Walked in there yesterday (admittedly 20 before closing) to look at an used MDX. Kae assisted me. She was rude and outright hostile. She said there was not time to test drive but she could manage a few minutes to let me look inside. Although I am pretty sure there was one that matched the criteria I was looking for, she showed me a different car. That may have been intentional as she kept trying to get me to lease a new car.

She asked me to make an appointment to come back to test drive a car. Given they allegedly didn't have the car I was looking for, I explained-- if I were to stop by just to test drive, then it makes more since for me to swing by the Acura dealer closer to my house. She debated that Annapolis was just as close as any other dealer. I mean, she was adamant.

By the way, I live on the Elkridge side of Hanover. There is a dealership in Laurel and Ellicott city. That was just her, she was confrontational on every front. She argued with me on what was best for me, outright calling me wrong She called all the other dealers liars (which in retrospect, includes other Criswell salepersons, I guess). She was so hostile, I felt outright comfortable.

I tried to terminate then whole situation by saying I will take the printout (some numbers she wrote up try to talk me into leasing) and just go. She refused to let me take the paper (not that I really wanted it) and accused me of trying to shop her. I obviously wasn't trying to shop her; I was just trying to escape her incredibly hostile energy. Kae was so riled, she ripped up the paper in front of me. Sorry, I don't but cars from children. Oh the other hand, I had a wonderful experience over at Criswell Audi. Buy from them.

Amazing service! They focused on five star service and delivered. They got me scheduled quickly, when I arrived early they got started anyway. The lounge area is comfortable and you can grab a cup of coffee, watch tv or work at the computer bar complete with charging station. I managed to leave my power cord to my computer there and they dropped it in the mail to me! I highly recommend Criswell Acura!

This is the only place that I take my Acura for service. I've had the car since 2011 and it's still in excellent condition. The service staff has been extremely nice and accommodating for me. Of course prices could be reduced significantly but I do highly recommend Criswell Acura.

My husband and two young kids had the AC go out in our SUV on the way to the beach on a 97 degree Friday afternoon. We weren't familiar with the area but found Criswell online and decided to stop. They were fantastic. They were all very nice, prompt and helpful. They quickly put us in a rental and got us back on the road. The repair ended up being $300 less than hey quoted us, since they said they felt bad that we broke down on the way to vacation. Wish we lived closer so we could come back for future repairs.

I've used the Criswell Acura's service department since 2009 and have witnessed the slow steady degradation in customer service for the past 8-9 years. After they refused to service my vehicle's airbag recall, I've sworn them off for good. The representatives are little better than robots, who only speak in Acura diagnostic code.

Perhaps Acura is moving towards fully automated check-in. Ever tried having a conversation with a service rep WITHOUT a service code? We used to be an Acura family, and I currently own two (three total for the household). Sadly, there is NO reason to choose ANY Acura dealer in the state Maryland anymore over a mom and pop mechanic shop or better yet, just youtube and DIY. Without the luxury dealership experience, why purchase a luxury vehicle? This makes it highly unlikely that I will be recommending or purchasing an Acura in the future.

I like coming here because of the great customer service they provide. I should have suspected something from the over the phone convo I had with a lady in the morning. I went in for my back passenger window which should have been all of $400 or less. I was charged $500 for a job that was partially done. They stated it would be about an hour and 1/2 for labor- I had done part of the work myself b/c I had to keep the window up since Mon until I could make it in. Therefore, the tech didn't have to dissemble the door at all.

As a matter of fact, they called me at 2:15p to say it was going on the lift. I arrived back at the shop at 3p and my car was done. I feel totally overcharged, why is it that these places cannot be fair in their pricing? Customer service and fair pricing go a long way. retains customers! Very disappointed in today's experience. I wonder if they even do any of the complimentary services they offer? I sure didn't get my car washed as I was offered in the beginning. Please go back to optimal service (across the board)

Do not purchase a car from this horrible dealership. They lie, they sell bad products, and when one tries to have them stand behind their word, they scream at you, specifically Allan Hannan. I can't wait to get rid of this piece of crap that I paid a ridiculous amount of money for, and can't wait to tell everyone and anyone who will listen to me about the issues that I've had. Shame on you, Criswell.
