Deter Motor Co. was established on July 1, 1964 by Don Deter and originally featured the Chevrolet and Buick product lines. In 1983 we added Pontiac and Cadillac to be one of the 1st full-line General Motors dealers in the Midwest. Today we provide eight product lines and 100's of models for you to choose from. Bought a Jeep Grande Cherokee from Deters Mopar and although there wasn't much wiggle room in price they did a ton of work to the vehicle to insure it met their high standards before It got to my hands so all in all a very fair and great experience working with Chas. I recommend them to anyone looking for a car in Atlantic, Iowa check these guys out! They are trustworthy and treat you like family. Will definitely do business with in the future!

Everything was good for most part, except when we went to pickup the vehicle they couldn't find the other set of keys for truck. I think if they don't eventually find them they should supply us with a new key and key fob since it has the remote start and everything on it. That will be costly to buy. And feel something should be done on their part.

We needed a vehicle right away after we found out ours was going to cost more to fix then it was worth. We had visited another dealership, but were extremely unhappy with how we were treated, so we left. We decided to go to Deters with the hopes the Trailblazer we had looked at online was still there.
