First of all this was my first experience with DuPage Honda Yamaha. With that being said this place needs a major remodel renovation. It looks as it has never had any improvements done to it. There is no comforts of a waiting area in service. The Saturday pit stop is very disorganized! People waiting for service and Guy's meeting for a ride is in the sane place?

I was instructed to park my bike to the left of service. Only to find out it was on a honor system? I went from first in line to last! A pit stop consisted of a 5+ hour wait! No where to wait while this was being done, No picnic tables, No Benches. Ended up sitting in the sales department where the were friendly and aloud me to sit. Everyone was polite though a little Chaotic when first opening. Mechanics are very knowledgeable and throughly and polite.

It does have a feel of being understaffed however? At $129/Hour there should be some profit to reinvest in some creature comforts in service and sales. This is not my first bike and been to many Bike(Harley Dealerships) and cars. This was the worst I've been in. Kevin the service writer was polite till you had a issue and got smart with anyone asking him why if aprobelm occurred?

My advice make a appointed drop it off and pick up when done. The pit stop not worth the aggravation and the lack of a waiting area makes for a uncomfortable wait. on the bright side I think he might of been the owner or Manager offered me a bottle of cold water and brought donuts in. Nice guy. I hope this review gets to the right person.

I Saw a bike on the website I liked. I called and spoke to a salesperson (Kyle). I didn't make appointment however. I thought about how helpful the sales person was and liked him. I went to DuPage Honda on a Saturday hopefully to buy the bike I spoke to Kyle (I believe this is the name of the courteous and helpful sales person). I went with cash money to buy the bike. Kyle was busy and asked me to wait around.

I meandered through the premises. Outside, a tall elderly salesperson approached me and asked if he could help. I explained to him that I had seen the bike on the internet site and spoken in depth to Kyle about it and was considering it. I am 76 years but I still ride, I have over 60 years of riding experience. Big bore bikes are out of my league now but a used 500 Honda would make a nice get around bike.

I just wanted to downsize as I recognize that age is now a factor. My last bike was a Kawasaki ZX-!4 Special Edition. The tall elderly man then began a sales pitch. I explained to him that I had spoken at length with Kyle and was here to hopefully buy the bike but at my price. My price was based on my 60 years of experience and knowledge of the bike market.

I then began to justify my price to the elderly salesman. His reaction was entirely rude & negative. I thought "Isn't that how one buys a used motorcycle" C'mon man! He turned his back to me and walked away. I was insulted & offended by his rudeness. I went back into the store. Kyle was still busy so I jumped into my jeep and went home. I wasn't going to mention this to you nor am I intending to buy anything from you now. I just thought that someone should know about my experience two Saturday's ago with your ignorant old sales man who turned off a "cash paying customer".

Spent almost 2k for service. Wanted my bike ready for summer. Instead I have to sell it because I felt like it was unsafe to ride. Wobble at 65 70 mph new tires new fork seals bearing and tires. Then I get bike back and leaking brake fluid on my tank after brake and clutch fluid flush. To be clear I can work on my own bike. It's a luxury for me to pay someone else to do it.

So get its right the first time not the third time. Also wanted F1 light checked out and guess what? Nothing was done. Checked into it myself and found positive battery terminal hanging by a thread. Keith is a smooth talker that will not get the job done. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

I went in to get a new rear tire on a rather difficult to service and rare scooter. They found a tire and mounted it in reasonable time and i thought the pricing was fair. They suprise me of another issue that i took care of myself

My first experience with this place was when I was a kid (Im 32) and my brothers went here to get parts for a 1971 XS650 someone gave them that was in pieces. I drive past this dealer all the time these days and when I finally ended up getting a used FZ09 this is where I took it to get new tires. I also had them fix my FZ09 after a wreck, and most recently had new tires put on today.

I brought the bike in during the morning, and by around 1pm they had installed the new tires and the bike was good to go. Great service and turn around time considering the time of the year and how crazy the bike community gets when the temperatures start getting warmer. I will continue to bring my Yamaha here. The staff is always nice and the service is great. Thumbs up.

Bought my wife's scooter here in 2015, it has been absolutely perfect. I come here every year to get that same scooter serviced. Always maintained right, got almost 8k miles on a little scooter and she runs perfect. I would recommend DuPage Yamaha!

Terrible experience. Took $200 down payment and sent in financing application. In direct communication by phone and email. Nick wanted drivers license which was emailed through THE SAME EMAIL thread 3 times. In my phone as sent mail. They say they never received the email. My wife sent 2 emails with images of id, and still claimed they never received any emails.

I'll never take my business here. Nick was so happy to refund me my down payment but not try and find another solution receive image of license, besides going to the location. I've never met a salesman that was more then happy to loose a sale and multiple sales in the future.

Reached out to inquire about a bike that seemingly nobody had in stock. Sales team was very helpful with directing me to a store that had one. Super quick and efficient communication. Will be bringing my bike there for service for sure.

I bought a 2022 CRF. Salesman Nick could not have been better. Responded to every call, answered a million of my questions. Made my purchase super smooth, A++ salesman. If your looking for a Honda, ask for Nick for sure.

Good for parts. Service idk, I do my own work Not a super huge selection of bikes. I never see more than 3 ppl in the store at one time and they try and play phone tag with you. Things go out on older bikes finding it a hassle to get parts from this place like I'm a burden for calling and ordering parts. May change my opinion down the line idk, if there was another store closer I'd go to that one tbh. Had better experience today. Was out the door quick and they were helpful and saved me some cash. Kinda cool you can tell who's a more experienced rep, the older dude was able to find everything quickly and exact part I was talking about, the younger dude being new of course was a little slower, interesting to see. My first review a little harsh. Overall decent store I'd go there in person rather than trying to handle whatever over the phone.

Had a great time dealing with a salesman named Mark. He was able too get me into the 4 wheeler I wanted and made the process as easy as possible like it should be. Really was impressed with how helpful Mark was with certain things I couldn't figure out aswell and with answering my questions. All in all he's a really easy and real personal. I'm sure I'll stop in and purchase a few other vehicles from this dealership later.

I've only ever dealt with the service side of the business, but I really like them. Keith always gets me in and taken care of on both my bikes with no hassle or delay. The mechanics are great guys. I always see them take great care of customers bikes. Great job to the service department!

Cancelled my order finally. They said they would have it in a few days after I ordered it. About a week after I called and they said it was on backorder. Called a week after that and the back order has been extended. Said they would find a different supplier, at that point I canceled the order. Found the battery on amazon, now the battery will be here in a hour, a day after I ordered it. Fuck dupage Honda and Yamaha. Don't waste your time with these losers. Wasted two weeks with those fuckers and missed the last few nice days of riding.

I would give it no stars but it's not an option. I left a deposit on a raptor 90 after more than a 2 month wait on receiving the 4 wheeler. Nick from sales could have not been ruder than he was on the phone and in person. After being told "did I studder " I had enough asked to speak to the owner who didn't even offer and apology at the way his employee spoke to me.

He instead asked Nick if he was OK and he responded well i told her 2x already why the price is 100 more which isn't true. I will never purchase anything from here again. Buyer beware

Called to speak to the parts department today at 11am. The phone must have rang 15 times before someone answered. They told me they were transferring me to parts. 5 mins later someone came on and said "who are you holding for?" I told them the parts department and they said "they have a line of people at the counter now. He will have to call you back." This was fine by me.

I gave the man on the phone my name, phone number, and even the Honda OEM part number for the oil pump I needed. It is now 8pm and the business is closed without a call back. I ordered the part online instead from a retailer out of state. Tried supporting a local business, but guess they don't want my money.

ABSOLUTELY loved my experience here. Mark did his best to get me in my new 2020 Yamaha R6 in matte gray like I wanted. He went above and beyond to get the color for me. Made it a breeze and I happily paid for premium.

Came in on Wednesday and met Mark (the GM), was quoted a price for a new waverunner with an extended 2 year Warranty. He wrote down the out the door price of $11,744, I told him I would be back on Saturday with my daughter since I was buying it for her. Went back on Saturday (3 days later) and he jacked up the price $250 and told me no extended warranty.

I had $12,000 cash in my pocket that I guess he didn't want. Was extremely rude and had no desire to answer questions about the watercraft or make the sale. Very disappointing for myself and my daughter after I showed her photos of it. I would rather take my business someplace they value it.

They priced a 2018 MT-09 as $7499, but their shady final price was $9700! They wouldn't show me the breakdown of the price. I ended up going to another dealer up North on 47 who was straightforward on the pricing and showed all the individual lines with a total that was $900 less. Basically they told me they were selling it for $7499, but really were selling it for full price! See other reviews. Mine isn't the only one that has this story.

Website shows business OPEN today 12/27. Drove 10 miles one way to find place closed with note on door. It's SO easy to update a website. Please update your website with holiday/winter hours.

I had came to this shop once a year ago to look at a 50cc honda. The price looked great on the price tag but then when you go to the office to try and buy the bike the prices are jacked up as much as possible AND WONT OFFER ANY DEALS WHAT SO EVER.

I had service done on my 2013 Stratoliner (got from Wisconsin) for about 3 years. And this year I bought a 2018 Yamaha Venture from this dealership. So I have worked with sales, service and parts and they are all fantastic! They shared in my excitement in getting the Venture. Service work is excellent, parts keep me up to date (Yamaha was the culprit for being slow on the Venture options but it was cold enough I wasn't riding yet). BTW this year the parts manager helped with my choice in buying a helmet and I am very pleased. I like all of the employees who work at DuPage Yamaha and I highly recommend them for your motorcycle needs.

After having the worst possible experience at the dealer I bought my Honda Rebel from (Fox Valley Cycle) I found Dupage Honda online, and even had a co-worker tell me his buddies owned the place (FU - sent me). They treated me great, got me right in for service, everyone was friendly and eager to help me. They are completely out of my way logistically speaking, but I am a customer for life. Even upgraded my grips and bought a helmet from them. Guess the dealership I bought the bike from(Fox Valley Honda) didn't want my money.

I dropped off my Honda rototiller to be repaired for a float problem in the carbuerator. After waiting 1-1/2 weeks to hear back from them, they quoted me $335 to rebuild the carbuerator. All that was needed was a new needle seat and needle on the float, and for that they quoted $335, when I can buy an entirely new carbuerator on Amazon for less than $15. Stay away! This place will rip you off! I will never go back!

Sad Mike, I came in years ago for a rear tire on my Cafe racer. He wanted over 500 bucks for tire and remove and replace. When your the only guy in town, doesn't give you the right to whack your customers. I read your reviews and the writing is on the wall. You've been here for a long time. Bye bye Honda - moved on. P.S, maybe you should just sell scooters?

This place has a very good smell of unprofessionalism and careless. I Came there to buy a bike. I found an interesting bike, but one of the workers just turned me off when I asked him to have some specific information. The person just went out in the office and never came back, I was waiting for 25 minutes, walking around like a dummy. When I referred to the other worker he just found the best solution not to work, he just said "I don't know" anyway I decided that it's better to leave.

Just wonder if you get this type of service now, and what's going to happen to that service later, when you'll have to maintain your bike! Plus it looks like many negative reviews are simply disappearing!

Update to former review: Had a much better experience with both the service dept. and the sales dept. Went back for a Yamaha Test ride event and was impressed with the improvement I saw. Maybe just a few fluke experiences I had in the past

Arrogant, I purchased my vtx here in 2003. It was a good experience so I went back to look at new Goldwings and was ignored. So I will go somewhere else to buy it. too bad for you.
