I highly recommend purchasing a vehicle from F & D Auto Sales; this is a hidden gem. I had gone to several dealerships looking for a specific 2016/2017 Mercedes Benz, researched online, and even test drove a vehicle to no success. By a fluke, I came across a small, independent, luxury used car dealership (boutique dealership) whose owner (Fred) went above and beyond to find me a vehicle that met my criteria.

He provides customized service and care to ensure the customer's satisfaction. There was a time when I did not properly shut-off my vehicle (I left the ignition key on) and the battery died. Fred drove to my home to jumpstart the battery and also ordered a new Bosch battery at no charge to me. In today's times, it is rare to find an honest businessman whose sole purpose is to please the customer.

I have known Fred and Frank for a long time and they are such great people. We have purchased a few vehicles and they always come through. I just purchased one more and I am greatful.

So I'm looking for a convertible and I'm well versed on Mercedes. Most sales folks and dealers don't know the brand, in fact just up the street they had (2). So I visit Frank and he speaks the language and does not know I know mercedes. Frank not only tells me the truth but he puts the car on the lift and allows me to inspect and shows me everything. Why.?

Because he took the time to fully inspect, repair and replace everything that inherently goes wrong with a mercedes. That is what I was looking for being new to Las Vegas, a dealer I can trust. Please understand, he did not know I knew mercedes and he was HONEST. You don't get that in life anymore let alone a used car dealer.

I have purchased two different vehicles from this dealer. 1 Mercedes Benz S500 and one Mercedes Benz SL500. Both of the vehicles were Immaculate and still run flawlessly. I flew in to buy these cars and they even gave me a $300 discount to make up for the cost of my plane ticket. These are very nice gentleman to work with. Shopping for a used car is stressful - we all know that. Even with today's online auto search sites, you still run into the little details that were never apparent in the pictures. If you are looking for the perfect car, even the smallest detail, like no CD, Cassette or MP3 jack on the stereo (in the 21st Century no less -?) can turn a promising drive to the other side of town into a crowning disappointment.

You do research online for days, even weeks - comparing prices, checking carfax reports and Kelly blue book values. Then you drive around town looking at dozens of cars before you even take your first test drive. All told, shopping for a used car is frustrating. But there is one thing that can make it down-right maddening - when you show up at the dealer and the car listed is no longer there.

Now imagine showing up at one dealer, with the printout of three cars the dealer had listed on AutoTrader.com - and NONE of them are there. 3 cars - not one on the lot. All sold, according to the dealer. There's no telling how long ago the cars were sold, or even if they ever really had the car at all. Maybe it's just a ruse to get people on the lot by listing a bunch of cars they don't even have. Just be warned, maybe you should call ahead.
