Powersports is the go to spot for Honda and Stihl mowers, blowers, and garden power tools. Service department staff is first-rate, knowledgeable, and customer friendly from simple to complex repairs. Three cheers!

Not the best experience. I went there in early April put a deposit on a used Grom that was in the showroom. The next day I get a call saying it was a mistake that the bike was already sold. Hmm George offered to take a few bucks off on a new Grom and gave me a delivery date of 5/17. I specifically asked him if that was a good date and he told me the last few shipments from Honda have been pretty much on time.

Well 5/17 came and went and I was told the following week. The next week came and went and the next and next after that with the schedule date being pushed back every week. Finally enough was enough and I got my deposit back My issue is George should have been up front with me from the beginning. He wasn't. Every week I'm calling in only to hear next week - for 4 weeks. I would not order anything only buy off the floor.

I had several bad experiences with a previous dealer with service. Came over to this dealer which is a bit far from me. I had to wait a while to get booked in for service. However, it was definitely worth it. From my experience the people are genuinely nice and it feels like a family oriented business, I even saw the pictures of what seemed like events held in the past. Looked really cool, would definitely like to be part of that in the future!

I talked to all departments sales, parts, and service. Really nice to deal with and very helpful. The service department in particularly were exceptional, they updated my information with ktmdealer net as the previous owner of my motorcycle was still listed as the owner. Let me know my bike is still under warranty. I will be bringing my bike over for any service needed in the future. Really appreciate being treated fair and respectfully and not looked at like a $ like motorcycle mall.

I purchased at KTM 500 EXC although I've raced Moto just about my whole life this was my first enduro that I added a supermoto kit too. I was shown the bike and given a demonstration that answered more questions that I had! Truth is Im confident I couldn't have had a smoother transaction elsewhere. I addition to plentiful inventory both vehicles and parts thank you to George in sales, Steve in finance, Jason in parts and the owner Vince for a great experience and I look forward to purchasing other new machines from you guys. 4 hrs on it 140 miles and loving it!

Seems like a great bunch of folks. Bought a bike from out of state and set everything up over the phone. They made everything very easy. Got a good deal for my trade and a great deal on the bike. Even gave me a discount on some oil filters that I needed. Thanks for all your help George!

I had set up an appointment for my Honda Rancher to have warranty work completed. I called this morning (day of drop off) to ensure my bike would be kept indoors as it was downpouring and calling for freezing temps the next couple days. Hanover said the bike would not be kept inside, and would be kept out in their parking lot. That would be fine, if they didn't need to hold my bike for two weeks.

I am not comfortable keeping my bike outside in the winter for 2 weeks waiting for parts to come in. I also found it odd that they needed the bike in their possession in order to order parts? I even offered my credit card info for them to order parts and once they arrived, I would drop my bike off. The answer was that if they ordered parts, and I didn't show back up, they would be out the money.

Found the whole thing odd and honestly felt they were unwilling to work with me, citing "since you didn't buy it here" several times. I called Pompton Sports Center (did not buy the machine there either) and they had no problem setting up the service. They said they'd get the part on order, and schedule a time for me to drop off for install, which is exactly what Hanover would not do. Will never call again for any future service.

After a couple of phone calls and emails I finally had the opportunity to come in and see the bike in person (Yamaha YZ450FX). Everyone that I encountered/dealt with was professional, courteous and a pleasure to deal with. In a time when other dealers are gouging their customers Hanover Powersports was fair and honest. Thank you for a fair, quick and easy transaction.

I bought my KTM 790 Adventure here and I've been getting my service done here since. It's a down to earth place with sales folks who aren't pushy. I walked out with a deal I could live with which separates this place from the circus and vultures that are motorcycle mall. The service guys are great, too. I don't ever feel as though I'm being ripped off and they've kept my bike in good running order (and I beat the hell out my bike on and off road). Highly recommend this place.

I can't say enough good things about Hanover Powersports. After several disappointing experiences with other local dealers, I was elated to discover Hanover. The process of buying my KTM 890 was straightforward, honest, and easy. They let me drive the KTM and a Honda for comparison. This used to be typical at dealerships, but now for some reason no one wants to let you drive a bike before you buy.

Not here! I just brought the bike in for the first service, and had them install some crash bars as well. Gary and the other guys in the service department were a pleasure to work with. They were able to fit me in on Saturday and get the job done while I waited. I drive out from Manhattan to come here because it's worth it. Keep up the great work guys!

I had to purchase a part for my ATV and Johnson in the Parts department when above and beyond to do the research, checking with multiple distributors and even blogs discussions to help find a solution. Great customer service and support. This is the only place I will ever go from sport and power equipment. Thank you!

Honestly the best shop in NJ! From their sales department to their service department these guys deliver. As a proud Husqvarna and KTM owner this is the only shop I will ever do business with. Friendly knowledgeable staff that honestly made my dream bike come true. They went above and beyond with my KTM 500 excf supermoto. Worked with the Sthil department. Helped me pick out a SH86 Leaf vacuum and gave me recommendations towards a new string trimmer. Will definitely be back next year to purchase a string trimmer from this location. They have much in stock and the staff are knowledgeable.

I've been meaning to write this. I've been coming here to buy gear/products for years. I've never bought a motorcycle here but I recently had to use their service department to clear out the a service light on my new KTM SuperDuke R which I purchased elsewhere. Mike or "MJ", was the point of contact I reached to make my appointment. Even with crazy lead times, he was able to shoehorn me in as it's just a simple clearing of the service light.

The day of the appointment, I had a last minute meeting. I asked MJ that we could rescheduled. But he was super relaxed and told me it was fine as it's a simple clearing of the service light. I brought my bike in and it wasn't as simple as we had thought. When the tech, Adam, was going thru my bike he found some irregularities in my ECU as the original dealership set my bike up incorrectly. Namely, Heated Grips and Seat were enabled in my ECU - even though I hadn't installed them! Further, the KTM SuperDuke R comes with a KTM My Ride application which was never activated on my bike.

All in all, Adam was meticulous and went thru the bike and made sure it was in accordance with how KTM wanted it to be. He even went a step further and advised that a recall, (which the other dealership had allegedly done) may not have been performed correctly and suggested to come back. He even helped me set up the KTM MyRide app on my phone! All in all, I was blown away by their service.

I really wished I bought my KTM from them but they had none in stock when I was looking - probably because they're an awesome dealership with a FANTASTIC service department. Needless to say, I am a fan of the dealership and I haven't even bought a bike from there (yet)!

Incredible Service & Incredibly Honest Advice. Moved up from KLR 250 to KTM 350 EXC-F.Jesse and Anthony could not have provided a better experience for dirt bike purchase and making the bike better for me. My dirt bike skills (lack of skills) were addressed and appropriate springs added, pre-sets set for me (WHICH WAS NOT DONE WHERE I BOUGHT THE KLR), Jesse took time with me and also ANTHONY in parts was awesome in helping me with new helmet and googles.honest, great prices, fair trade value.

Best bike purchase experience to-date (my 3rd bike, 4 bikes for kids.). Hanover Powersports also puts time and money into supporting the Hancock NY Fire Department which is why I went there. GREAT EXPERIENCE FROM GREAT FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS.

Under normal circumstances I have always had a very good experience with Hanover Powersports. I have used them for service even though there is another Honda dealer much closer. At my last service (yesterday) the service was performed as promised, however, someone clearly rifled through my trunk and took the $10 I had stashed away. It clearly took a little time to find it.

Because of the way the contents of the trunk were out of place I am confident that this happened while the bike was on their back lot and not by any of their employees. To their credit, both the Service Manager and Owner contacted me and offered to reimburse my loss. It's not the $10, it's the fact that my bike was invaded while under their care. Lesson learned-don't leave key fob with the bike under any circumstances and ask the Dealership not to leave the key with the bike after service has been performed. Despite this incident I will continue to do business with them because of the Sales and Service experience I have had with them.

I just walked in and bought a 2018 Yamaha MT-07. They had just received three, one in each color. Process was painless. Worked with Amy on the financing. Worked with Jesse on the sale. They delivered it to me for free. There is an additional show room on the lower floor which I didn't know about. I had previously bought a Honda snow blower from them. They can get really busy with service. Pays to call ahead for service. Delivery guy was a joy to chat with.
