I had been in the market for a few months when I finally narrowed my search. One of the biggest factors in my decision was service after the transaction and the other was ease of the process. Thinking back on a purchase experience I had over 10 years ago I immediately thought of Ales Olecky and Leith BMW. You can imagine my delight when I found my perfect car and my favorite sales consultant (still) at Leith!

I emailed him on a Sunday evening and first thing the following Monday morning Ales had emailed me back! He had the wonderful news that THE car was still available and told me the next steps to secure it. With the deposit confirmed he let me know that I could expect the car to arrive on their lot any day! Fast forward to Thursday. I receive a message from Ales that I could pick my car up on Friday.

I told him that would be great if I could be back to Sanford by 11:30am for an appointment. Ales did not disappoint! I arrived at the dealership at 9:15am and I was on the road with my beautiful new ride by 10:30am. Ales values his clients' time and truly cares about making sure this process (which can be draining & overwhelming) is as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

Without a doubt, Spencer made this the easiest car buying experience of my life. From the minute we walked in the door, he helped us learn about BMW with zero pressure to buy. We ordered an X5 with almost every possible option. Our salesman was Spencer Johnson. I suggest you ask for him when you walk in the door. He's a super guy and provided the absolute best and least pressure car buying experience we've ever had. He even turned us on to a great local restaurant while we were there. I know we're just one of many customers that he has, but by the time the process was complete we felt more like friends than just customers.

Lady at the parts department is a unique level of rudeness, uncivilized unapologetically rude and proud of it, such people belong at a swamp rather a dealership. I have been a customer of leith BMW For about 10 years. I have had some mixed experiences, but mostly good. However, today I got a rare opportunity to face a scenario that uncovered the honesty of the service department.

I bought a car for a different BMW dealership about 35 days ago, this car needed an oil change so I took to leith, where I was told it also needs an In cabin microfiber filter. The problem is that I then discovered it was replaced by the previous dealership before selling the car. Even if it was thought the car is due for a filter change, once it was out, it would have been obvious it was brand new and not in need of change.

I called back to my service adviser, I will not name her here, but her indifference attitude about my complaint is worse. At this point I am questioning how many things I paid for in the past 10 years that I did not need to. I am now forced to take my cars elsewhere and going forward I will not recommend Leith BMW to anyone.

We visited Leith BMW to see a used X3 and Spencer encouraged us to test drive new X3. We loved the car. Spencer explained differences between various generations of X3 and new features in the car. RUN from this dealership. Worst experience I've ever had, would give zero stars if I could. For those who know, BMW works closely with a company called Dinan/Carbahn for approved modifications. Brought my F80 M3 in, and asked if they were qualified to do the warranty service the vehicle required. They were not, instead of suggesting the BMW Dealer 10 miles away who is qualified, Sean, the service advisor, gave a vague answer of non-dealership services in the area who don't do warranty work, implying Leith was the only option in a petty money grab.

They kept my M3 for over 3 weeks, didn't reply to messages asking for updates, and finally called 24 days later to tell me they did nothing but void my warranty and leave the car under a dirty tree for nearly a month. On top of that, the loaner they gave me was disgusting, it looked like it had never been cleaned. It had 6200 miles on it, and 6200 miles of dirt on the interior.

The leather was white originally, but a dark gray when given to me. I cleaned the interior so I didn't have to sit in others filth. Check out the photo below, where I cleaned the seat myself - you can see the stark contrast between the section I cleaned and the gray, built up filth over the rest of the seat. Overall, this couldn't have been worse, ended up going to another BMW dealer in the area(Durham), who did an incredible job on the car - literally the best experience I ever had at a dealership. Avoid Leith, you'll live with the regret/pain of having dealt with them.

It is hard to deal with a car lot that will not even return your calls. I was looking to order a new x5, I requested a manager call and it was promised but never happened. I went with another dealer.

After endless attempts to get a simple call back from other BMW dealers, I immediately got a response from Spencer Johnson from Leith BMW. He answered all my questions about ordering my X3 customized under my specific requirements. He went beyond the extra mile, trying to find a similar car for test driving, knowing the difficulties caused by the shortage of vehicles. The whole experience was fantastic and delightful. Had the worst experience at Leith BMW I had my 5 series for 10 months, had 3 check engine issues ( gas cap and front vent) issue drove 50 miles to the dealership getting there at 730 they open at 8 just to get hassled by 3 individuals of how they would not even look at the vehicle. Then I asked for the manager at 1st he was a little shaky but he looked at the code that I provided and said it would be about a 30 min fix.

I told him they ruined my BMW experience I went to Johnson Lexus (within walking distance) sold the BMW and got a Lexus, great customer service go to Lexus they have excellent customer service and vehicles.

I have read so many of the Leith BMW reviews. The people are correct. I spoke with the maintenance technician about an oil change and possibly correcting a problem with my speed sensors. I was told on the day of the oil change that it would cost approximately $1002 to replace the sensors. I declined on the day in question. I called back the next week and scheduled to have the sensors replaced for the $1002.00.

The technician told me it would cost $1600 after 5 days of quoting me 1002.00. This dealership cares nothing about the customer. They only want to rob you. They do not keep their word. I am NEVER going back to Leith BMW. I was extremely disappointed in their customer service.

I came from out of town. Needed services for a flat tire or possible tire replacement. I was told they would check warranty and call back. Never received a call back and of course services are no longer needed. Expect more from BMW.

I simply dropped the car off for the tpms to be fixed. First I had to buy a new tire because I had something in a tire. Ok cool, I would have liked to see that whatever was in the tire was actually deep enough to require a replacement. That's ok though, they had to order a part from Germany so I waited a couple weeks and finally dropped it back off.

When i was ready to pick the vehicle up they lost my valve covers (which management replaced for free) and before leaving the lot I noticed a crack in my windshield that wasn't there when I dropped it off. They said oh yeah we will fix that it's obvious that it's fresh. I assumed they meant replacing the windshield but they did not.

Instead they had "someone" seal the spot and whomever did that damaged my hood in the process bc now there is a big streak right above where the crack is on my window. Pictures speak volumes so I'm just going to post what I am speaking of. So now at this point I need a new windshield and someone needs to fix the scratch the window ppl made on my car.

Recently started having my BMW serviced here and have been very pleased. At my last visit they were extremely low on new 7 cars but That's probably because buyers of new seven cars want to special order.

Talk about stinking service! I went to four lots in one day to look for a car and be at Leith BMW by far provided the worst experience ever. I don't know if it was the way that I looked or the fact that I came in in a Ford focus rental car, but it was clear none of the three people at the front wanted to help me. Salesman puts me in the car to test drive and tells me he'll be back with the plates.

When Ma came back he must've not allowed enough time for the gas that he just passed to leave his ass so I was stuck smelling shit for a good two minutes my guess would be that he had hot beans for lunch I think I'll stick with my Infiniti

The repair shop here is the absolute worst. I will never go back. I have another issue with my BMW now that made me think about my last service experience here. I would literally have my car towed to another city before taking it here.

A first, (but technically a second experience here). A first with regard to having a vehicle serviced. The folks here are generally cordial and somewhat down to earth, but. 3 hours for an oil change and a fuse replacement?. Really?

Had my car for 6 months. 6 shop visits too. They sell lemons and dont care about their customers. Sean the GM aka baldy bitch. wouldnt explain to me why my car was at the shop for 29 days and only 6 hours of labor was done to it. Had nothing but problems and I can show you proof why you should sleep on leith and not buy their lemons. 9842698187 ask for shane.

I will not go back, I was very disappointed. Not very friendly and car wash was very poor after service. I'm usually spoiled by BMW car services. I felt like I was an imposition. Maybe because I had a service plan that I purchased in Texas? My husband has a BMW and we both won't go back there. South pointe BMW wins our loyalty.

About a week ago, I wrote a 1 star review due to my frustrations with the customer service at this dealership. However, I deleted it and am now posting a new review because the supervisor, Kelly did his best to resolve my concerns in a timely manner. Supervisors can not always have control over their staffing so I appreciate his willingness to help me out despite when I was being negative.

It takes a lot for someone to do that. This review isn't 5 stars because I still did not appreciate my past experience but I'm glad they were able to improve. So one note to take into consideration. The lady that always answers the phone is great at her job along with the lady that is always outside ready to first process you in. I felt so bad for her standing in that heat but she still had a smile on her face.

So with that being said, the majority of the staff in person are good with customer service but on the phone, not so much. There also appears to be some miscommunication that could improve but that's like with every dealership. Hope this helps.

Well i had better hopes from this dealership compared to the other bmw dealer in town specially their sales department. Had put down $1000 deposit to be in queue for the new M2 competition. when i asked for european delivery they refused cause that means less profit for them. such a shame that dealers really dont care for long term customer connections over making some more profit. well i know where my friends and I wont be buying from. honestly some of the bmw dealers outside NC are really great to work with.

I had similar not so great experience with local raleigh dealers the first time I bought my 5 series and 3 series. Now for the service department, if you stay in cary, morrisville dont bother going to this dealership. apparently they only have one shuttle for pick up and drops and expect customers to figure it out if they cant come pick up. my car has been in the shop the whole week. first off i had to call in to find out if it was ready or not on a friday afternoon so that i am not car less over the weekend and on top they say you should have told us you need a pick up before so we could have planned it better.

Sorry our 'only' shuttle driver is too busy picking up others for the day. So basically i can wait till Monday or if i want my car today (friday). i have to go pick it up myself. btw its a 40 mins drive one way from my home to the dealership. so much for customer service. funny how a premium car dealership can be this way :(.

UPDATE 2/8/2018 Beware Leith BMW Does Not Like Negative YELP Reviews. I could not pickup my car until the next afternoon (the review was posted last night). When I went to pickup my car I was immediately confronted about making a negative review, I was forced to listen to the Service Writer lecture me for 5-10 minutes about how I don't know what I am talking about, unless you are certified BMW you cannot have an opinion.

I told him I wasn't going to stand here all day and argue, he then stated it wasn't an argument because my opinion didn't matter. He then droned on about the car bing 5 years old with 36K on it and the software was old. (if this issue has been around why wasn't my car updated during its 4 year of included maintenance). Lets be clear they didn't replace any parts only updated the software that was causing the car to claim the engine malfunctioned (and then reduced the car to driving under 35MPH) so effectively making the car un drivable.

In the day an age of VW that cheats emissions and iPhones reduce CPU when the battery is 2 years old and BMW dealers that talk down to you and resent being reviewed. Brought my BMW 2013 X1 because of a "engine malfunction" performance reduced. After taking to a a non dealer the code was that a software update was required to fix the bug that caused the malfunction.

So the software bug causes the reduced performance, Leith charged me again to get the same code to do a software update and are charging 2 hours of labor to do the update (bill was 448.00) Sounds a lot like the iPhone battery performance reduction. The software bug causes the engine performance to be reduced unless you pay 400.00 for the dealer to spent 10 minutes to update the software version.

It sucks they're the closest dealership in the area. Their service department is either out of control or incompetent. You expect to pay more at the dealer, but you don't expect them to go off the deep for every issue. Tire / Rotation / Alignment Issue: Our 2012 X5 only has 15k miles on it, yet every time we bring it in they want to do a 4 wheel tire balance, rotation, and alignment.

The front wheels definitely has more wear on the outside of the tires than the rest, but needing an alignment every 3k miles is a bit much! It makes me wonder if they're are even rotating the tires OR is there a significant issue with X5s and tire wear. Computer Diagnostic and Service Reset: $57. really! To hook up a computer cable and read the screen? $57. seriously? Blissful Ignorance: The issues I've raised about our X5 with the service advisors (and has been also made on BMW Forums by other X5 owners) the service advisors always say, "I'm not aware of any other customer having that issue."
