Nuss, Jr. who started out as a helper in a repair shop and worked his way to the top by opening his own business, Charley Nuss Garage. With the success of the garage, Nuss launched Mack of Rockford in 1959.

I visited this business three times, every time they cause another problem which is even not exist before. And last time was the worse I went to fixed thermostat but they supposed be 1300$ fixed, they broke my water-pump which cause me 1500$ extra. then I talk to manager explain everything he does not help me. someone one said to me people like you should not came our business. I feel he is resist and I would not advise any one to go this business. My truck coolant and water pump still is leaking.

I tried purchasing equipment from this location, finally backed out of the deal. It's been already 4 weeks that they have not sent my deposit back. I placed deposit on 3 units with James Conklin, and their response to my email with an update was you will get it when it comes. Who knows when they're planning on returning my money, as they don't know when they'll process it.

This review is waaaaaaay over due! This place has a really, really good shop and service advisor named Kelly. I will randomly call him about stuff that needs to fixed on my Volvo or just general questions and he is always very professional and never trys to over sell me anything. The parts department is not really the best and usually confused when I try to buy things(I think this is due to new and inexperienced staff). I wish I could use them more often for all my services. HUGE shout to NUSS Volvo/Mac. Great team here!

Charged me $750 to change a relay, and it was so obvious what the problem was because i had it sticking out with tape on it. I was called in the morning it took their tech 30 minutes or less to find that relay and they charged $175 an hour and called it 2.5 hours plus a $140 for the relay. This shop is not an honest mechanic service they are only in business to rip off the larger companies so if your a small business don't take your truck here, diesel dogs has been much more upfront and reasonable in my experience.
But do your own research if you look into this company you will find other reviews that say worse. I gave them a chance to fix something simple but if I brought them a real problem they would have ripped me off so bad.
