Went to service, parts looking for air filters for a 2022 Elantra. If you can't find the parts for your own product on the computer you should close the doors. Bought a car there in 2012, have not returned since. This trip makes me feel I haven't missed much, although I have purchased five Hyundai's since 2012

It's basically a dealer for oil change and tire rotation nothing more.they don't know nothing about car issues.after 5 weeks waiting for an service appointment came out with nothing just lies. and they would try best to avoid doing any repairs but oil change and tire rotation.if you have a hyundai vehicle and need repairs done go somewhere else. I wish I could give them a zero star.

I purchased a new Tucson from this dealership and found the air conditioning did not work from the time of delivery. I was told the factory forgot to put in coolant. The second time I brought the car in with no air-conditioning I was told the AC unit was broken. It has now been three months later, and in the beginning of the summer heat in North Carolina.

Originally I was promised the part would be available in late June or early July (4 to 5 months after taking delivery). The dealership said it's not their responsibility to provide me a loaner vehicle and due to North Carolina lemon laws I do not qualify since the car has not been in the shop four times or at the service shop for 20 days or more. The dealer also informed me they have no contacts at Hyundai to expedite a part.

Last week I was informed there is no estimated time of delivery for a part to fix my air conditioning unit and not to be concerned since I have a 100,000 mile warranty.? No air conditioning for a new car, no dealer responsibility, no manufacturer responsibility, and no protection with consumer law. Buyer beware.

The Service Team at Medlin Hyundai are knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. Clean and comfortable waiting area. My 2017 Sonata has served me well. So glad Medlin Hyundai had a 2022 Elantra Hybrid for me to test drive while my vehicle was being serviced. Excitingly, I traded in the 2017 for the 2022 during my service appointment. Great people in both Service and Sales.

Went in for new tires and the service person wrote down what tires I needed and set the appointment to come in. I called the morning of the appointment to make sure everything was still on go and they assured me it was. I dropped the car off and they called me 20 mins before they were to close and said they didnt have the tires for my car. I can understand that because accidents happen.

But when I came in the service lady (named Angelic or a least that what the paper said) very rudely told me it was my fault that the tires weren't in, because I was suppose to order them with Sales and Service dept. No one told me I had to do that the day I came in to make the appointment. And I never had to do that beforewith any other dealership, but she was just passing the blame to me.

I was charged $128 to get for lock nuts off because they didnt have a tool to do it. So when I came in they had the tires off and car lifted and she told me "Do you want to buy tires or not?" $499 tires with added aliment ended up costing me double what they initially said even with her "10% discount that she acted like I should just be greatful for." And when I got there I had to get 4 more lock nuts and wait for them to put them on.

It was truely a horrible experience and theres no way I would advise anyone to go here and service a vehicle. I hope this assement will help Hyundai of Rockymount to step up a little more on Customer Service and Honesty.

The dealership has had my car for close to a year and can't seem to tell me why my motor and turbo have not been installed in my car. Which they have had both parts on hard for about 60 days. Can someone tell me whom i need to contact about the poor service i'm having with this dearlership.

Looking for that no BS sales approach? How about the "take it or leave it " sales pitch? Better yet, "yes I added 3k to sticker price" or" I don't care if you buy a car here, someone will". All of the above at Medlin Hyundai of Rocky Mount. No attempt or care for my business. Just the kind of service others have come to expect from this dealership. Peers and friends told me not to buy here.

Unfortunately they were right. One thing positive.once they push you into a high deposit, they will give you your money back. Just endure a little lesson on what a dealer has rights to do with their own prices.and we wonder why everyone is forced to buy online. Venture in at your own risk.

Not real happy with this dealership. I had seen a vehicle I was interested in and said I would come on the weekend to look at it if it was still available. I live an hour away so during the week is not possible. Anyways, I was told that the car wasn't on the lot currently, that it was being driven by one of the managers I believe but would be there on Saturday.

I get a phone call on Friday stating the car won't be back on the lot until Monday and I can come look at it then. I don't think so! Why are you advertising a vehicle for sale and an employee is driving it racking up the miles on it? It certainly isn't going to have the miles on it that were listed on the website. Then telling me I can come on look at it another day.really?

Purchasing a car here was great! I'm a single woman so going to a dealership alone was scary. I spoke with Keith before I got there and he was FANTASTIC to work with. He gave me all the details, stayed true to his price and even delivered the car to me in Raleigh after I purchased it. Worth the drive to Rocky Mount for the level of service I received. Would buy another car from them again!

We just bought a 2020 Santa Fe from Medlin. Everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. Did you know you can't expect FLOOR MATS - yep - must be a new thing. And the days of getting two car keys is gone as well. So with one car for two people we have ONE key. Yes, only one. We keep getting promises that our salesman is "working" on it. BUT the most horrible is that the drive out sticker on the window stated in print that it came with a sirius radio installed.

Our salesman went out to turn it on for us and sent us in to talk to finance. ONLY AFTER the paperwork was done were we told that our new car did not have sirius, nor would it be installed. We are working with NC Department of Consumer Protection and Diane Wilson at ABC. They just need to fix these really wrong ways of treating a customer. I will drive to New Bern again instead of using these crooks.

Bought a used Genesis via email and telephone conversations due to covid concerns. Vehicle was delivered and appeared in good shape. Once the driver departed my wife and I got in it without masks on and realized it was a heavily smoked in vehicle. we immediately contacted the dealer and were basically told "tough" you bought it you own it! Figured the least they would do would be offer to properly detail it, which they hadn't previously. Nope. all I can do at this stage is say buyer beware, there are many shady entities out there, especially during this covid epidemic.

HORRIBLE SERVICE. Randy ignores calls & text, doesn't bother to call you back in a timely manner. Sept 28th we towed my car to Medlin Hyundai to have the engine "rebuilt". Which were the EXACT words Randy provided us with upon picking up the car. We weren't able to leave when he called to tell us the car was ready due to pulling out of the garage and all dash lights being on and the car shutting down.

He then insisted we buy a battery, which we did because we had no other way home. Got my original battery tested just to determine it in fact was no issue with it. Upon getting home we noticed OIL spills all over the alternator. No apology no attempt to make it right, just ignored the text like nothing happened. Now as of 12/22 not even 3 months later and the engine light is back on making the SAME EXACT noise it did the first time before going into LIMP MODE. Spoke to the national team for Hyundai and they told me the dealership were to be putting in a completely different engine instead of rebuilding the one that was having the issue.

Also called today at 10:30 AM, left a URGENT voicemail and RANDY or anyone else has yet to call back. So I Called before they close at 7PM and was told I needed to just call back Monday due to the holiday. Worst customer service possible and not the first issue I've had with this location not doing what they were supposed to do.

I had a great experience working with Benni over at Medlin. He was super prompt all through the car buying process. I was purchasing a car from a distance that I had found using an internet search. It was extremely important to me that I had someone to work with that was responsive and that I felt like could trust. Benni was all of those things. Not only did he test drive the car for me (I think he really liked the car :) ) but he worked with finance and the sales manager to get my deal done.

He took pictures for me and even helped with recommendations for me to get it shipped to my home. Any time I messaged or called Benni he was immediately responsive. I have my car and have been loving it. If you're going to get a car my suggestion is to ask for Benni (pronounced Benny.) In my search I spoke to about 7 different sales reps all over the country, half of them did not even call me back! I would definitely purchase with Benni again. Bottomline

Super friendly group of people with high values. They helped accommodate me for nearly 6 hours while we worked on getting my Mom a car (there were a few complications with the bank sending money) I appreciate that the owner has high standards and sticks to his word no matter what. There's a good reason this place is highly recommended by the local police department.
