North Shore Towing

My wife's car broke down on her way to work so we called our road side assistance who arranged for a tow truck from another company. Well, several hours later my wife was still on the side of the road and getting the run around that it would only be "another 30 minutes." Instead of waiting who knows how much longer we arranged for a tow from North Shore Towing.

They had a driver out to help my wife in about 20 minutes. Not only did the driver get the car hooked up quickly he made sure that my wife got home safely. Hopefully we don't need another tow any time soon, but if we do we are just going to call North Shore first.

Car broke down on Mother's Day. The tow truck was half mile away and showed up within 10 minutes. Service was awesome. Ignore their website that said they are closed in the evening. They are 24-hour Service and they are great.

I had to get my car towed because someone stole my catalytic converter :( they came so quickly and brought me to the car shop I always go to no problem. Mario was amazing. He even jump started my car, and made me feel so comfortable on the way to the shop. He was so kind, and an overall awesome guy. If I ever need to tow my car again (I hope not, but you never know), I'll definitely be calling them again!

We scheduled a pick up they said 90 minutes! and we waited. then they added another 50 minutes. when we called they said " too bad- just cancel if you can't wait". extremely rude, don't waste your time. Lot's of other better towing services out there. We called a different provider and they came within 20 minutes. Service: Car towing

Went outside @ 3 am as North shore Towed my vehicle. I said "sir can I please Not have it towed" he responded "do you have your keys" I said "no but they're inside I can get them in 5 seconds" He said "by the time you get it I'm going to lift it and thats it." Ran in to get them. Literally took me 3 seconds since I live in the garden unit. He said "I already lifted it" Only a very heartless person would do that to someone. Turns out there is a overnight parking pace in the vehicle they did not see because they're running a scam. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Scammers!

Eddie was sent during evening hours to retrieve a highly uncooperative vehicle. He was proactive with an ETA and communications and he was respectful to my neighbors and their property. 3/31/2021 5 photos March 31, 2021 Salvation Army Parking Lot 2151 W Devon Ave, Chicago, IL 60659 Our car got stuck inside the Salvation Army Thrift Store parking lot at around 4 pm. We cannot explain the problem, but it was something about the axel with the left tire (?). We had no other option but to call a towing company thru my car insurance agent.

When the towing truck got there (coming from Wells Automotive Service Towing) at 5:30 pm, we were so disappointed because the tow driver couldn't help us because he didn't have the lift jack equipment to move our car. To make our story short, we called our car insurance again and sent another towing driver. This time, the towing driver was coming from North Shore Towing Company.

When the second tow driver arrived at 6:37 pm, the parking area was already closed, so we directed the driver to go around the alley. All right, to make the story short, Sal (Salvador), which is the name of the driver, was very friendly and extremely helpful. He didn't have the lift jack equipment, but he tried his best to do the technical things to solve the problem. Sal was very experienced; he was an expert and did his job with expertise and technicality.

He did such an outstanding job. By this hour, around 7 pm, I was already shivering from such extreme cold weather. We asked Sal if he could give us a lift traveling to the mechanic place at a BP Gas Station, located at 5156 North Broadway Ave & W Foster Ave, Chicago 60640. Sal didn't hesitate to say "Yes". He commanded us to jump into his truck driver set, and my cold was immediately relieved.

He was such a wonderful man, and despite such circumstances and ordeal that we had gone through, we were still happy to meet a man like Sal, who made our evening so grateful. We are so pleased to meet Sal and being so satisfied by his service and friendliness. We want to recommend him to anyone, and we will guaranty that he will do a fantastic job.

Complaint Report #S861829 North Shore Towing Date of incident: June 25, 2019 I would like to file a complaint against North Shore Towing for damage to my car. On June 25, 2019, my second day of a new job, I had parked in a Church Parking lot at 1113 Clark Street, not knowing this was a permit parking area. I understand that I should not have parked there.

I came to get my lunch, only to find my car was gone. I called the number on the sign and picked up my car after work at North Shore towing. When driving home to Palatine, I noticed a very loud noise from the front of my car, and got out, only to find out my front bumper guard was broken and the driver's bumper was cracked (see attached photos). I called North Shore Towing and they claim it was there before they towed and said they had pictures.

If the damage was there prior, how did I drive to work with no noise? I have asked them several times for the photos and their insurance information, but they refuse to release these. We did supply them with our photos. The damage to my care is over $1,400 and we wish to proceed with the complaint and reimbursement for this damage caused by North Shore Towing.
