Originally opened as Ray Vickers Special Cars, Inc., we sold automobiles, and specialized in classic autos - mostly from the 1960's. In 1997, we added RV's to our inventory. Now we carry a line of new units as well as used trailers and fifth-wheels. We have a full parts department, and if we do not have what you need we can order and have it in for you within 2-3 business days.

I apologize to everyone at Farmington RV for taking so long to write this review. We were traveling through Farmington when the refrigerator in our RV stopped working on propane. We pulled into the service department and we were immediately directed around the back where the technicians, Melvin and Hubert, began diagnosing the problem within a minute of our arrival!
Unfortunately they determined that the burner controller on our 13 year old refrigerator was no longer working. Then the office personnel, Shawn and Teresa, went to work to locate the hard to find part in Phoenix and have it expressed to shop. Finally Mr. & Mrs. Vickers, the owners were kind enough to let us park in their lot until the part arrived in three days!
When it did arrive the techs again, dropped what they were working on and installed our new controller. Our refrigerator immediately fired up and has been working perfectly ever since. Thank you so much to everyone at Farmington RV!

If there where more "stars" Farmington RV earned them! Based on the previous review I had to give them a shot. I too was traveling, Denver to LA, and my converter/inverter was throwing error codes and my power wasn't working. They took me right in and Seth immediately went at it. After an hour he found the problem - a wire had arced an melted the connector on the circuit board.
A new inverter would be be $750, take two days to arrive wind up costing over $1,000. Seth disassembled the part, salvaging a section with an unused good port with the connector and reassembled it. He saved me hundreds of dollars, probably three days of travel and taught me about how these systems work. The place doesn't look like much but all I cared about was great results at a fair price. Six stars!

We were in New Mexico with our travel trailer and our black water tank pipe froze (temperature unexpectedly dropped to the teens). We saw this location and pulled over to see if they had any suggestions on how to resolve. They IMMEDIATELY had us come back and their team went straight away to melt the ice and flush our system. Melvin the technician was quick to identify the problem. Shaun at the front desk was friendly and informative. Thanks for helping us get right back on the road in less than an hour and at minimal cost!
