The service department here is an absolute joke. I just purchased a new Rav4 from a different dealership due to the fact that Roberts did not have the exact one I was wanting, and they didn't know when they would be able to get one. I did try to buy my car from this dealership, but the communication was not great, so I kept looking other places. That's beside the point!

I figured I would use Roberts to get my car serviced since I am closer to them (I traveled far to get mine), and I work in Columbia. They were good to work with when I was just getting a routine service done, but when I needed help getting my tire fixed after something getting in it, they did not want to help. I pay for a tire & wheel road hazard warranty monthly (I have a brand new car, so I made sure to get all the things because accidents happen), and they told me they could not honor that warranty because they had no proof of me having it. *note, I even called the company I have the warranty through, and they verified that they are nationwide and any dealership / licensed tire shop could file a claim with them* I tried several times to email them a copy of my paperwork, but they said they did not need it. after a couple days of them being wishy washy, they finally agreed to order me a new tire and fix it.

When I went to the dealership to drop of my wheel & tire, I asked the guy (Larry is his name) if I needed to show him my paperwork and he said, "No we do not need it." so I left and went back home thinking I would go back the next morning and my tire would be fixed and they would put it back on my car. That was not the case! I called them later that afternoon to make sure everything went well, and they told me they had called me several times that day to tell me, once again, that they couldn't touch my tire due to not having proof that I had that warranty. AFTER I ASKED THEM THAT MORNING IF I NEEDED TO GRAB IT OUT OF MY CAR TO SHOW THEM AND HE SAID NO.

I never once received a call from them and I did not have any missed calls. Maybe they did call, but nothing showed up on my end. I went back the next morning, and I showed them the paperwork. Larry then replied that he needed that paperwork all along, after telling my multiple times he did not need it. He told me it would take several hours to get done, and they could not give me my car back until my warranty provider had paid them.

They knew that I worked night shift the night before, and that I could not physically stay up there for 4+ hours (that is why they told me to bring just the wheel and tire the day before so it would be ready when I got off work the next morning). After deciding that I would find someone else to do it because of the week worth of trouble, this man did not even have the audacity to help me put my tire and wheel back in my car.

After me asking him to please help me. Thankfully another nice gentleman did help me! I also witnessed this Larry guy be rude to an older couple in line in front of me when they mentioned a warranty was paying for something on their vehicle. The receptionist (Karen) was also not friendly to work with at all, and I honestly did not feel welcome to even call.

Moral of the story, if you have warranty's for these vehicles that we pay all of this money for, I do not recommend this dealership at all! They were not friendly, and they were definitely only worried about making money. I will not be back, not to even get my car serviced. I found a different Toyota dealership that ordered me a tire no questions asked, and they had it put on in a couple hours, and they honored my warranty hassle free!

Exceptional experience in the service department! I called with an urgent brake repair request and the receptionist told me to bring my vehicle in and they would try to work me into the schedule. There was more damage than expected but Larry and his team in the service department were thorough in their explanation to me about the necessary replacements and repairs-even going as far as showing me some of the damaged parts, which I greatly appreciated.

Not every company will take the time to make sure a customer understands what they are paying for, but Roberts Toyota did. I was called in advance of any work being done and when I arrived I even met the technician who worked on my vehicle-another exceptional employee, in my opinion. Now, hours later, after driving my vehicle around town I am pleased with the work that has been done. I would highly recommend the service department at this specific Toyota dealership to anyone who wants a good quality service.

I just purchased my second vehicle from Robert's Toyota in Columbia, TN. While they did try to overcharge on the new vehicle and under value my trade-in, we negotiated an agreeable deal. Once we made the agreement, everything went very well. The sales person was easy to contact and was friendly and pleasant. If you're looking for a Toyota, I recommend you give them a chance to earn your business.

Honestly the easiest car buying experience I've ever had. I was in and out within an hour and a half getting my 2014 Ford Focus ST. Todd was our salesperson. Super helpful and outgoing. Michael the finance manager got us a really great rate, which I was blown away by. We got warranty, wheel and tire package, and gap added for a lower price than we had even planned without it all. Overall they both went above and beyond. When it's time to buy my wife a vehicle, we will definitely be back there.

I went to the service department to get an oil change & my tires balanced and rotated. The last time I went I was charged $67 and change for an oil change and tire rotation BOTH. This time I went and it was $87 alone for the oil change. The pricing is inconsistent which I don't like. I didn't have to wait as long as last time which was nice, and they found a nail in one of my tires and plugged it for me.

I just want to know why the price of the oil change, changed from last time to yesterday. I give three stars because they did help me out with the nail and putting air in my tires (the light kept coming off and on) but I didn't give a full five stars because of the price difference.

I am not rating the dealership, seems like it was a really nice one. I am rating the sales rep I was in contact with. I am extremely disappointed, Michael Bullock. I would give him one star if it wasn't for his kind coworker who helped me out when I got there- didn't catch his name. I had scheduled a time to see a car at 5:30, got to the dealership at 5:07.

I confirmed earlier in the day that the scheduled time would be okay with him as I knew they closed at 6 on Saturday's and I did not want to be an inconvenience. He reassured me that the scheduled time was fine. When I got there HE HAD ALREADY LEFT FOR THE NIGHT AND THE CAR WAS SOLD! I am not upset that the car sold, it happens. I am upset with the LACK of communication.

I had an hour drive to get to this dealership and gas is not cheap! His coworker had stated he left when the couple who bought the car were serious with moving forward with the car, so why wouldn't "Mike" have the decency to communicate that the car was sold and not to keep my scheduled time? It is ridiculous to waste someone's time like that, he should've let me know not to keep the scheduled time as he was leaving due to the sale. Also, when you call in for the operation hours it states they're open until 8 pm during the weekdays when they're open to 7 pm, that should probably be updated.

I took my Lexus here on a recommendation and was so happy I did, the cost was 1/2 of what they quoted me at a Lexus dealership for the same service. And my car was ready a hour earlier than they told me. Really great experience. Will definitely come back for all my services

This was by far my easiest vehicle purchase! Tyler in sales made sure that he kept me informed during the wait time for my vehicle and went over and above in making sure all went smoothly. His service along with Mike in finance made my car buying experience a pleasure.

We had the best car buying experience you could ask for at Roberts Toyota of Columbia. Todd was the best all around. He knew exactly how to help us get what we wanted and presented all the options he had on how we could get it. He was honest, genuine, and transparent throughout the whole process. We felt as if he cared about us getting the best deal for our car from the start to the finish.

I'm so glad I bought my car at Roberts Toyota of Columbia. I would recommend everyone take the time to drive a little further South to buy your car from them. My family will definitely be going there in the future and we plan to do all of our maintenance down there for the foreseeable future. I love my certified used 4Runner! Thanks for everything!

Drove in from Franklin because I keep hearing great things about this place and I wasn't disappointed. Received the best non-hassle support from Johnny V and we landed on a fair price. Picked up this sweet Tesla with low miles! I've purchased many cars over the years and this was by far the easiest experience. The owner seems to be a really rad person too.

I bought my vehicle from Roberts. In the past seven years, I have used their service department as well. The sales, service, and parts departments are wonderful here. I have never waited over an hour to have my oil changed and my tires rotated. The work is always prompt and excellent.

I left this on another review site but I saw they had shaky numbers here. They were so awesome, I had to share my experience: I remember laughing a few years back about the thought of buying a car online. I'll never do that! But I started looking for a car that is not very popular around here (2017 Prius Prime) and ended up talking with Roberts Toyota in Columbia Tennessee over 400 miles away.

From the promptly and personally responded email from Steve Learn to waving goodbye to Paul and Mark the delivery team (from start to finish less than 5 days) I purchased the most expensive vehicle I have ever owned and it is shaping up to be the most awesome. Jon Versterheim (Jonny V) was our salesman. He took me through the no-haggle, no-pressure process.

Even the guy double checking the figures and offering extended warranty (sorry forgot name) did not push it. Just let me know it was available if I wanted more information. As soon as I said no thanks he dropped it. They were both knowledgeable and efficient. What is hard to believe and has probably made me a customer for life is Jon not even hesitating when I wanted the car taken to a mechanic over 45 minutes out of the way from us for an inspection.

He did assure me he was not going to let a car leave the lot that had a problem. The mechanic confirmed that. This added almost 3 hours to the delivery as they waited at the mechanic then brought the car to our home! And then my wife and I were given as much time as we wanted to test drive. All that on a $1000 deposit. Could have sent it back. But that was not a thought! It's a great car for what I need.

And I highly recommend the Advanced package if you are in the market. Paul and Mark were a lot of fun, knowledgeable about the car and were not in a hurry even though they were putting in a 12 plus hour day. As I said above, the whole thing exceeded expectations. I thought the least I could do was write this up. Highly recommend! And I plan to be back in about 300k miles. Maybe sooner.

Make sure you know these people are scammers. *******KEVIN, DEAN, BRANDON*****I purchased a Lexus rcf used from them. Delivered to my house received it at night. Looked at it and didn't notice anything on the body because it was at night without enough light. and it was described as flawless condition by dean! After that I woke up and saw the cars true identity. Looked at it and the sun revealed the damage.

I contacted KEVIN first thing in the morning and he told me that it wasn't there and it's obviously been repaired from the damage. I took it to the Lexus dealer to get it inspected and they told me it's been hit. And the car also had a popping sound when turning to a drive way. Not even 24 hours and I'm trying to talk to them Brandon, Kevin, and dean.

They kept transferring me to different people to make a joke out of me. Because they know that it's been there and they false advertised the whole thing. Make sure you don't buy any pre owned vehicles from them. They will screw your up like they did with me. I have contacted my attorney and I will be moving forward with this case.

Do not shop here! My parents just purchased a car here a couple weeks ago. They purchased a bumper to bumper warranty with it. When they took it on a trip they noticed that the cruise control was not working right. Much like maybe there was something wrong with the sensor. No big deal they've got bumper to bumper warranty. They take it in back to Toyota and find out the whole bottom plate of the car is missing.

And it is going to be $5,000 to fix. They will not cover it under the bumper to bumper warranty because they bought it "as is". So in other words they totally screwed my parents over and they will be out $5,000 on a car that they JUST purchased!

Called to try and get my car looked at on a Saturday. I simply asked if they were able to fit me in for a regular $7,2500 maintenance and have my car diagnosed for any other issues because it's not running right. I explained that I was driving out of state. I was told that they couldn't fit me in, and when I asked about scheduling for the next Saturday was told that "they try to stay away from Scheduling on Saturdays".

I am a single mother who works full time M-F and have no extra car or help to get back and forth to work if I have to leave my car for maintenance on a week day. The girl in service was not very flexible or understanding with my concerns. I will definitely be looking for a different dealer even if I have to drive farther to get there.

I would never recommend this dealership in my lifetime I came into the dealership looking at a particular vehicle and and older fella came up to me very nice. at first.then he went and go the keys to the vehicle and we went on a test drive when we arrived back at the dealership he asked me my credit score and I told him he immediately changed from a angel to a very disrespectful and mean man he told me that I wouldn't be able to finance a candy bar I took that very seriously and then he proceeded to say you would need a co-signer and going in there I knew that and i had planned on getting one and as soon as he said that he walked away from me back into the dealership.like they do not care for there customers if they won't even let them explain.

So sorry but this dealership will never get my business. I've had my run arounds with dealerships and by far this has been the worst experience. I hope that you reading this understand the level of rudeness I felt from this man. I believe he does not deserve a job at a dealership! I don't know his name but he is a very older gentleman. If you want a good dealership I would recommend Columbia Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. Very professional dealership they will do anything in the world to help if possible!

Updated review: When we went to this dealership we were greeted by and talked to some terrible people (manager Anthony especially). We were never going to buy anything from them, BUT Paul the dealer manager saved the deal! He was super kind as well as our new salesman Chris. They were very nice since the moment they met us and made us feel important where as the other guys made us feel worthless.

They kept us updated with our deal, they worked out a great price for us, they definitely saved the day! I really appreciate them, they did everything to make it right If you go to this dealership ASK FOR CHRIS! You'll have the best experience possible!

My first offer on my car was $4,000 less than my last offer they gave me. I had to walk out multiple times because they thought they could scam me. Bad management, salesman didn't know about the car he was trying to sell. Worst dealership I've experienced, wouldn't recommend to anyone. Don't go here

Came from Franklin to test drive a used car.had to walk inside to find a salesman. He commented that it was too hot to roam the parking lot. Before test driving the car, I YOUtubed how to take the convertible top down because the salesman did not have a clue and didn't bother to find out. After the test drive, my boyfriend made an cash offer that was comparable to other researched prices, the sales guy didn't care to even make a sale! Wow. We won't be back. Terrible customer service from a car dealership of all places!

Don't stop here if your from out of state. 2010 FJ Cruiser TRAIL Edition- out the door price 23500. I have my own financing and I'm being told they can't take my money because I'm out of state. "We can't take a wire transfer because someone has our account information" "We can't take a certified check those are two easy to forge" I was approved by my bank in Albuquerque.

They told me that they can't except out of state credit union checks. " credit union checks take 2-3 weeks to clear and we would have to sit on the truck"? The whole time I was told the truck was being sent to auction today "Wednesday 11/2" so I did my part they failed on their end. How this was handled is purely bad business and for being in business for 45 years it's pretty ridiculous way to treat your customers! Very frustrated Matt H

Poor customer service. Very poor in fact. After driving 1.5 hours to their dealership to look at a specific car, in which they knew we were coming for. They allowed another couple to test drive the car that we were driving to look at right before we arrived. The other couple was informed that we would be allowed to purchase the car first. While we test drove the car after the other couple got out, they went in and complained to the manager who wasn't aware of the promise.

He then told them they could have the car. When we, and the sales man we were working with, informed the sales manager of the promise he had made us, and informed the other couple about, he refused to make the situation right and sell us the car.

My experience with Roberts Toyota started when I saw a 1990 Toyota Pickup for sale on their website. It was after hours so I sent an email inquiry in. After not hearing back, I figured it must've sold, but I decided to call in just to be sure. I talked to Larry Campbell, he for me the truck was still available and gave me a good idea of the condition over the phone.

I drove down to check out and, while Larry was busy with another customer, Ed Mills helped me out. Offered to let me take it for a test drive and gave me plenty of time to inspect the truck. Not once from the moment I called in to the time I decided to buy did I get pressured or "sold" on the truck. Just honest, respectable professionalism. I didn't buy the day I visited, but I called in the following Monday to ask if I could take it to an independent mechanic to verify the condition of the vehicle.

No problem. When everything checked out, I came back and started talking numbers with Mr. Campbell. After some back and forth we got to a number both parties would be happy with, even though I ended up spending more than I planned to. Here's where they really shine though: I needed to get the truck AND my other back to Brentwood and didn't have anyone to drive my second car that day.

They had Erin follow me up to the bank (over 30 minutes away, yikes) and then to my apartment so I could drop one car off and pick up the truck I just bought. It was a lot of back and forth with driving, but I'm really impressed they took the time to help me out when I was buying the cheapest car on their lot. Really says a lot about the quality of the employees that work here.

The deal took a minimal amount of time, minus the ride the kindly provided me with, and I never felt pressured. Definitely recommend giving them a shot and talk to LARRY CAMPBELL! He can get you into something you'll love. Thanks again to Larry, Ed, Spencer, Erin and Mike for your help and patience.
