I have bought my first and last car from Sarasota Ford. The only part of the transaction I enjoyed was the salesman. I wish I could recall his name as he was very knowledgeable and pleasant. The remainder of the experience once the finance people came into the picture was a total nightmare despite having a pre-approval letter in hand. At 3 we had the finance team from GTE on the phone to talk with them and there was not a single person in finance that could talk to them regarding our pre-approval.

Lots of people in offices talking to each other but none that would talk to us or to GTE. At 5:20 the finance person came out.just after the GTE people left for the day on a long holiday weekend. They initially said they "were not sure if GTE Finance was not one of their lenders" despite showing them the web pages from their site as well as the GTE TrueCar page specifically for Sarasota Ford.

And yes we provided a copy of the pre-approval letter which they would not accept. Beginning the next day I sent numerous and repeated emails during the week to include the online chat teams.all of which were ignored. I even begged the online person to not disconnect until they answer my question. In all we reached out to and were ignored by 10 people that included online chat people at their dealership to Sales Managers to the Finance Manager.

It was only well more than a week later after I found the link "Share Feedback With the Owner" that I got a response. They told me at that point there was nothing that could be done and it was in the hands of GTE. This dealership is the personification of everything negative in a car dealership.

2020 Ford Mustang GT (still under factory warranty). I scheduled an appointment for May 18th with the Sarasota (Florida) Ford Service Dep't using their dealership portal. Upon arrival, my Service Advisor was not even on site (Strike 1). I waited for over an hour for them to tell me they cannot work on my car because they do not have the tools or computer to communicate with the PCM (main computer) to address the issues I am having with this car (Strike 2).

I was told I would have to schedule an appointment with their elite 707 Performance Shop but I could not schedule that appointment until the first week of June (Strike 2.5. Really? Two week later just to schedule an appointment?). On May 31, I called the 707 Performance Shop scheduler (Amanda) and left a message. I got no return call from her that day.

The next day, June 1, I called 3 times and finally reached and spoke to Amanda. She put me on hold for over 15 minutes and never picked the phone back up. This call eventually switched over to voice mail and I left Amanda another message. Here it is one week later (June 6), and I still have NOT heard back from Sarasota Ford, Amanda or the 707 Performance Shop (Strike 3).

These people don't care about their customers, honoring Ford's warranty or you as a respected Ford product buyer. I will NEVER try to do any type of business with these people or this dealership ever again. Buyer BEWARE. If you buy from Sarasota (Florida) Ford you had better hope you do not have a service or warranty problem because you will probably not get serviced or get your issue resolved.

Since then I have scheduled an appointment with Sam Galloway Ford of Fort Myers, Florida. I just hope my experience is much better and I hope to get my warranty issue resolved with this car. As a note, I will also be contacting Ford Motor Company HQ and issuing a complaint against this Sarasota Ford dealership. There is NO EXCUSE for this level of disrespect and poor customer treatment after spending $60,000 on a Ford product THAT IS STILL UNDER FULL FACTORY (3-yr / 36,000 Mile) WARRANTY.

The salesman Gabe was outstanding! I had the best experience buying my first car in my own name here, although the process was tedious. Bryan who ran the finances was so helpful and amazing. As well as Ed who completed my final purchase. Everyone was so genuine, patient, hardworking and helpful! Totally recommend asking for these people and this dealership was such a win and I would so recommend it!

Patrick Q was awesome! He helped me build my Maverick last summer and I was patient enough to wait about 6 months for it. Patrick was there to answer any of my questions in the meantime, then contacted me as soon as it arrived to the dealership. He's very professional and definitely knows his cars/trucks. Warm welcome, very knowledgeable, not pushy or aggressive. We actually were just looking and had planned on visiting a Honda dealer after. Out of this world experience! Everyone I met said hello. At first I was a little leery of this place because of the congestion and it's location but I tell you the service I received was five star. I made an appointment for my vehicle for the 10,000 mile service. Ryan who took the phone call was fantastic. When I showed up the greeter was awesome.

Then my service advisor in the Quick Services Center, Julio five star. Then I was presented with an eight dollar coupon for a credit to be used in their cafe. Fiedler who runs the joint made me a bagel breakfast sandwich that was one of the best I ever had. He told me the story of how he ended up running the cafe in the joint. Then I ran into Mike Bolton the sales person, who offered to appraise my vehicle.

What a seamless experience. This visit was for an oil change and tire rotation and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. I did not buy a vehicle, but if you're in the market and or need your vehicle serviced Sarasota Ford is the place to go in town. I will be back and I look forward to it.

This dealership was great a few years ago, but now it's customer service and overall performance is pitiful. We had such terrible service last month and we sent a bad review. The service advisor said it would hurt his rating. Only when we refused to change the review did he reduce the price. They massively overpriced a number of items and they charged us $370 for doing nothing to the car.

He asked us to change our review and I said no. He said what if I give you half your money back? Terrible terrible place. We're definitely going somewhere else from now on

Great experience at the Quicklane today. Not all employees are quick to greet and offer assist during initial entry into area where it's a little unclear which desk to approach but once the lead customer care coordinator, Jimmy came in it was game on. Very pleasant and helpful in explaining how to get the most for my service plan money that I had spent when I purchased the vehicle.

He set me up with the Pass so I earn 5% back on all money spent, and gave me a $8 cafe card where I bought an amazing Bagel sandwich. Cafe staff also very courteous and professional. Service took about an hour as promised and let's not forget the free car wash. Thanks and Great Job!

I called this dealer about a truck. Their price is $89,000 when sticker says $62,000. That's not a viable business practice when gasoline is soon to be $6 a gallon. I wish them nothing but teddy bears and rainbows.

I brought my 2017 Ford Focus ST to Sarasota Ford to be repaired. It was having major electrical issues and no mechanic could figure it out. Sarasota Ford fixed my car to perfection. My service advisor Michael August was outstanding and a real proffesional. He was extremely detailed and assured me my car would be fixed and was with me every step of the way.

The Master technician Foreman was great. He showed me and explained exactly what they were doing to get my car running again. It was just an all around great experience. If you have a Ford, bring it to this dealership they know what there doing.

I've never been to a regular or luxury dealership that makes you sign a contract to pay them $100 if there is nothing wrong with your vehicle after being seen. Quick-lane+parts employees are pretty rude too. No, I didn't buy my car from this dealership, so I can't say anything about the rest of it. I just get serviced here.

Greg Jordan is a rarity. He listened to our needs, was no pressure, carefully showed us how to use the technology. 1. Bought a used car from them. Don't trust them on the condition of their cars. 2. Waiting over 30 days for title work, not a problem totally understand except NO ONE NOT ONE PERSON CALLS YOU BACK. IF you get ahold of someone they promise to call you back, nope they don't. Not managers nor title people no one. Horrible customer service. Save yourself a headache and avoid this dealer.

(8/30/21) After having a vehicle for 10 days now, and having an alarming issue that probably shouldn't been caught by management or maintenance. It seems to be impossible to get a call back or to get a hold of someone in management. Customer service especially with management seems to be nonexistent. (9/8/21) Update: They did replace one of the wheel hubs, and the drag link as a "goodwill repair" (allegedly, I have no paperwork saying they did), however my issues are far from over.

I now have a grinding noise since they "repaired" it, called asked for Derrick Freeman, the used car manager, got his voicemail, and have since called several times since trying to get a hold of him or someone, even calling the salesman, Andrew Solma, and being told he'll get him to call me later that day. It's been 5 days since and have received no calls of any kind. I still would not recommend this place simply because customer service and satisfaction is not on their priority list.

I drove two hours from Orlando to go to this dealership. I made an appointment to see a vehicle at 1:15 PM Almost on arrival they called and said the car wouldn't be there for about one hour after making an appointment to see this so-called vehicle two days earlier. Not sure what the purpose was unless bait and switch.definitely won't be back.

IF you purchased a new Ford vehicle, chances are in the beginning you like your decision you purchased one. When the time comes for it to be serviced and such, and you begin having to deal with Sarasota Ford more and more, you will regret purchasing that Ford vehicle. In 2016 we purchased a brand new Ford Edge. Initially it was for my wife and now I use it for my driving service business.

It has over 100,000 miles on it now and we chose not to renew any warranty. BIG MISTAKE! Since we approached 100,000 miles the vehicle has become a money pit for us and money maker for Sarasota Ford. I'm now asking myself if this isn't a perfectly designed plan by Ford/Sarasota Ford/Ford dealerships that allow suckers to be fleeced. We've had brake repair work done twice in the last few months that turned out to be recall items but yet we had to pay for repairs in the hopes Ford pays us back.

That was months ago. Over the past year I've been lied to. Had valuable information withheld from me. Been treated poorly and disrespectfully. In the end their service department was trying to make me feel like I was the problem and that my latest problem with our vehicle is my fault because I did not purchase any extended warranty. Very insulting!

As I already mentioned, Ford owes us $$$ for two brake jobs that are on their recall list and Sarasota Ford failed miserably from beginning to end with their diagnosis of the latest problem with the vehicle and wants less than what we are owed back and we are willing to have them repair it and withdraw from the $$$ Ford will "someday" repay us. They went from being nice because of my "frustration" and repairing something for free (150.00 service) to now wanting well over 1000.00.

I even told them I wasn't seeking anything for free. I just wanted the problem repaired. Our problem is not with the vehicle. When it is operating well, it is a good/decent vehicle. We fully understand how wear and tear works. But it's certain individuals within their service department and management team that have made our experience at Sarasota Ford seem like the worst in customer service. Sarasota Ford uses driving services such as mine to transport its customers to and from work/home as they drop off their vehicles for service as well as returning them later.

Those customers are going be getting into my Ford vehicle and once the conversation about owning one and dealing with Sarasota Ford begin, I intend to tell them ( the truth) about my experience and they can decide how best to go forward afterwards. They don't even deserve one star!

We drove down 55 miles from Brandon to Sarasota to look at a Ford transit connect that they had advertised on the Internet. We got there and come to find out they used a generic photo of a transit to cover for a transit that was traded in by an air conditioning company that wasn't even the same color style or accessories. This was a load of crap this dealership pulled on us. Talk about bait and switch this was a perfect example of it.
