Sales manager is very condescending. I made a fair offer on a used vehicle on their lot that has been there for months and their counter was more than I felt was fair.no problem as this happens in negotiations. My issue was an email I received from the sales manager saying that they will have no problem selling the car (possibly but it's already been on the lot for over 2 months) and he stated that he knows it out of my budget.

I felt this was absolutely unnecessary and condescending. I have the capability to pay in cash for the full asking price but that's not negotiating and when interest rates are lower than investment income rates, why pay cash.makes no financial sense. Beware of the sales manager! He's giving the dealership a bad name. Update: The general manager just called and attempted to smooth over what his sales manager emailed me.

I can absolutely appreciate the effort and he seems to be a genuine person. He assured me that what was said was not the intended meaning. I get it.but impressions are formed by words and actions, not by reading someone's mind. I could see a day where I would give this dealership some business, but I WILL NOT be dealing with the sales manager. If possible, try to deal with the general manager instead

The team at Autobarn Volvo Oak Park were great to work with. At a time when other local dealerships are taking advantage of the market and adding questionable fees, add-ons and treatments, the process of buying a new car was transparent and mutually beneficial. I will definitely be recommending friends check them out and will be a repeat customer myself. I worked with Joey and he was knowledgeable, friendly and earned my trust.

If I could give them negative stars I would. the rudest most unprofessional bunch of people in the service department I have ever had to deal with! They are disgusting they yell at you because your a woman and hang up on you! They lie and make up things you never said. Now I'm consulting my attorney because there is no way this should be okay!

I completely believe I was treated this way because I am a POC and a woman! So I will be pushing this as far as possible but if you can go to any other Volvo dealership go to them do not deal with them and their sub par workmanship and disrespectful, racist and disgusting behavior!

I cannot even give one star to this establishment. The level of unprofessionalism and offensiveness was astounding. The paperwork was filled out inaccurately, a second key needed to be asked for and arranged, service area was less than attentive, but mainly it was the absolute vulgarity and inappropriate personal information that was shared by some of the people that work there.

They were very derogatory towards women and I would not suggest a woman ever even enter the building without someone with her. I would never suggest anyone purchase a car at Autobarn Volvo Cars of Oak Park

I recently purchased a 2019 S60 from here. I was considering a 2019 Lexus IS300 Sport from another dealer, however Jimmy Hanson, the sales consultant from the Autobarn of Oak Park convinced me otherwise. Not only was the Volvo offer better, Jimmy was great! He was very friendly and knowledgeable (it seems like he's known about Volvo's since he was five years old)! Also, the sales process was practically effortless. If you're looking for a quality, certified pre-owned Volvo, I highly recommend that you meet with Jimmy.

We worked with Rodney on the purchase of a certified Volvo over the course of several weeks. He was welcoming, responsive, and helped guide us through the process during multiple visits. We came to complete our purchase near closing time on a Saturday and he stayed late so that we could get the new car set up. We would absolutely work with him again. The rest of the team was also very helpful, the car looked great when we came to pick it up.

Hello everyone, I wanted to start by saying, I do not write many reviews. I bought a used Mazda from Autobarn Volvo yesterday. I have bought cars from other dealers like many of us. However this dealer is different, why? Well, what stood out to me was the the care and expertise this particular dealership showed. From the first time I met Rodney the sales consultant, to financing and the detailer specialist were extremely welcoming, respectful and great to down to earth.

I did my research on many vehicles thought my search and all the dealers were marking up their vehicles due to the situation were currently in or miss lead you about the particular vehicle. However that was not the case here for either. You pay at or below market value despite the on going issues in the world. They know times are tough and the owner wants to be fair to the customer.

The process was also a breeze, no extra fess, no b.s or crazy amount of hours at the dealership. The dealer was transparent, honest and I was on my way in (less) than 2 hours. I have never experienced a dealer ship run so effectively and actually appreciate their customers, even post sale. I am very pleased and would highly recommend this dealer to family and friends and anyone who wants a great overall experience! Thank you, guys!

Sales, Service, and the Business Office at this Volvo dealership are terrific, but the country-western music playing on a nonstop loop throughout the showrooms is awful and not really in fitting with the Volvo aesthetic. We went there twice recently on Saturdays to look at new vehicles and were there for hours each time (did end up getting a gorgeous new XC60; big thumbs-up for salesman Jay Conley as well as Bill in business office) but enduring this same C-W music on both visits was unbearable. WHY was it decided that a sporty European brand's dealership needed to sound like the Grand Ole Opry?

As always the service team at Autobarn is the best. I've brought my vehicle in with some frustrating bugs and issues and they always go above and beyond to figure out a solution. Working with Jamir is one of those great service experiences where you feel like you're chatting with a friend and I always know what's going on with my car. Always five stars!

My wife and I purchased a 2022 XC60 T8 Recharge from Lorena Mena and the experience was fantastic. Lorena was knowledgeable, professional and patient. This is our first luxury car and our first plug-in, so we had all kinds of questions - Lorena answered all of them, made it easy for us to test the vehicle (twice), and gave us a great price on our trade-in. I want to first and foremost thank Marc Kubil for being a remarkable and grateful person. He has made sure to take care of my car to the fullest. We have been loyal Volvo customers for years, but will not continue to be. During our recent visit to lease a new car, we had a much different customer service experience than we were used to. No one helped us set up our car, no info was provided, we were missing items like a second key, and when we asked questions about these things we were met with indifference and deadpan stares.

When I asked about the key for example, I was told that's the new standard. When I said no one said we couldn't have a second key, I was told "you knew about the chip shortage". During our last lease we had follow ups, emails from the manager, etc. I don't what is going on but things have changed. Lastly, not one person was wearing a mask during a pandemic. I will never buy from Volvo again as they clearly do not care about my family as customers.

Horrible car buying experience from working within a salesperson called Firas. First trying to push me to pay this credit card deposit to hold the car for test drive without any written terms guarantee refund. Then he uses aggressive and insulting words in the text communication, as if he is the dictating overlord of the deal:"don't text me during certain time etc, this is my personal time".

You are the sale person and receiving after hour text/email if part of your job. If you don't want to reply during the after hour that's totally fine, you can reply in your normal hours. It's not like I am calling you during after hours. This guys single handed my turned me away from this dealer. Truly horrible experience.

I'd like to thank Rodney Garmin a sales expert in helping me bring my purchase on the XC 60 Volvo to fruition. Rodney was very helpful in explaining all of the new bells and whistle's on this new XC 60. I love my car! Rodney is very knowledgeable in explaining all the different features on this new XC 60 inscription. I also want to thank the finance person Bill who really helped me completely understand the leasing rules and how it works. Dennis, a big thanks to him too, As he helped me find a big discrepancy in my buyout from Ford.

This Volvo dealership team really makes you feel confident and secure in what you are buying there. I strongly recommend this dealership if you're interested in a Volvo.they are very honest in everything they do and make you feel quite at home while negotiating a price.

By far the best Volvo dealership in Chicagoland! It was definitely one of the smoothest and easiest car buying experiences I have had. Everyone from finance to sales, to service at this dealership has great customer service and is so easy to work with. They really value their customers. Everyone was professional, kind, and helpful. We were looking at electric cars and the Volvo XC40 Recharge was on our list as well as the Volkswagen ID.4, with the rapidly evolving electric vehicle market we decided we wanted to lease rather than buy. We ended up leasing the Volvo here - why? Because Lorena Mena was the ONLY sales person who was straight forward on the actual details of the lease from all of the dealerships we went to. Lorena gave us a print out of the lease terms showing all the costs, including the money factor. Every other dealership gave us a payment amount and nothing else. Thank you Lorena!

With Covid wreaking havoc on car stock, Jay Conley at Autobarn Volvo OP did the impossible. He got us an SUV with all the features and color (inside and out!) that we wanted. I had called 5-6 volvo dealers and they wouldn't give me the time of day, but Jay stuck with it in a few days had the car. Thank you Jay! Such a pleasure to work with you.

Since the moment I called them, the team at AutoBarn led by Jimmy and Will was upfront, honest and just good people. I got a slightly lower price by text from another dealership but I knew it was too good to be true and I wanted to support the people who picked up the phone when I called them and talked to me straight. Jimmy was helpful from beginning to end and although negotiating and signing paperwork can be a long process, Jimmy helped to make the time pass quickly and with ease.

Outstanding car buying experience at The Autobarn Volvo Oak Park! Our sales consultant Lorena Mena is just brilliant! Lorena is real, beyond knowledgeable, and works fast and efficiently. My husband and I knew exactly what model SUV we were looking at and what price fit our budget. No hassles or negotiations back and forth, Lorena made it happen! Tiffany the sales manager is so kind.

I felt like I was talking to family! That's exactly what I saw this team at The Autobarn Volvo Oak Park as is a well rounded, in constant communication with each other work family. 5 stars all the way! And I would recommend to anyone! Beginning to get a lukewarm feeling on the services provided. Spent time and money to diagnose the navigation system and it still doesn't work properly. When I call for service first option is leave a voice mail, or keep calling back until someone picks up. Need an oil change and was told that even if I arrive early, still will take an hour and a half, with no loner vehicle available for me to get to work and return at least until noon. Complimentary car washes take upwards of an hour. So, I go up the street and pay. When I first bought the vehicle in 2018 service was exceptional. Things have changed.

Three for the svc advisors 5 for the parts Dept. I am formerly a v7O owner and now I have a xc 60. So I natural was very familiar w the svc Dept. On my drive from florida I called the dealer for a? They seemed to not care. As I visited the other day I purchased new Volvo rubber cargo liner as well the super strong winter mats. Svc parts rep was wonderful!

He also showed me tires which the price for the dealer was almost equal to costco tires. Then comes the not so warm caring for your business attitude. Well it was before lunch so maybe they were cranky. I had a stupid key fob? The advisors just seemed off. I use to love talking to the manager or my advisor. These new young boys are probably just focused on lease cars. They don't care about others. Well I still have two years warranty and they are probably not going to see my car again. Sad.
