But my decision to run a successful dealership came more by way of default than any kind of formal career planning. My professional life began at the age of 21 when I went to work for a large, new-car franchise shortly after returning home from serving two years in Argentina as a full-time missionary for my church.I was excited about the idea of getting paid to talk to people about cars-one of my greatest interests-and to work in such an exciting, ever-changing industry.

I had been looking for a mercedes for a while. I came across specialties auto. Their service was impeccable. I had no pressure from Boyd the salesman. I got such a killer deal, and the process was a breeze. I didn't feel pushed into anything. Boyd was so great about giving me all options I had available and the best deal for my needs and wants. I appreciated their transparency. I'm so excited with my purchase and would go there again when I'm ready for another vehicle!

I bought a car here this week and am extremely impressed with the whole experience. For starters, my job involves going into dealerships all day every day so I see a ton of dealerships daily and this is definitely one of the nicer ones I've been in. Their inventory is clean and all in good condition and their sales/finance people are helpful and not pushy at all. Boyd was the finance manager who helped me and was nothing short of stellar! I highly recommend buying your next vehicle at this dealership!

The worst experience I've ever had with a salesman in any regard. Boyd was extremely disrespectful. To preface, I had been messaging him about the Audi. I told him I could come in on Monday and he told me they were closed that Monday, but that he would already be in the office at 2:30 to finish up a deal with a customer so it was perfectly fine if I came in then.

I showed up a little bit early to be respectful of his time. Boyd shows me the car (asked him a couple questions about the car that I had seen on carfax and didn't know what I was talking about). I take it for a drive, I love the car. I take it back and make him an offer, doesn't take me seriously that I can pay cash. I tell him I'll pay cash at the offer I gave, which wasn't far off from what he was asking.

He says no, clearly irritated, so I tell him I'm going to go take a look at another car elsewhere, and that I'll think about the price he is asking and he proceeds to yell, "You're seriously shopping for cars on my day off!?" (After he told me he would be there anyway) After yelling at us, turns around, walks into his office and doesn't say another word, doesn't walk us out, nothing. The worst customer service I've ever witnessed. The sad thing is I would have purchased the car but I don't want to deal with Boyd. Definitely not worth your time.

No hassle. No pressure, just great service. We went in to test drive a car. After the test drive I didn't care for the car and happened to ask if they had anything else in that price range. He listened to what I didn't care for in the first car and asked a few other questions and he then found my car. His easy going personality put me at ease and willing to do business with him.

Everyone at the dealership was super nice and accommodating. In fact, I went in to buy one car and ended up buying two because of their great inventory and willingness to listen to our needs. They even brought a car up to us from St. George just to look at. What service. I would not hesitate to recommend Specialties Automotive Group to anyone, anywhere. I dealt with "The Man" Boyd, but I have no doubt that you will get the same great service from all of them.

I'm about a week out from purchasing a luxury Volkswagen from these guys and already have nearly 1k miles on the car. It's fast, smooth, was in nearly perfect shape despite being 7 years (gulp) old, and I'm ecstatic. The car also came from Texas and was transferred up to Bountiful from the St. George location. Not a peep of rust. It, and the experience, were completely awesome.

I got a great deal. They changed the oil and rotated the tires. The car was detailed. Etc etc etc. The honesty out of these guys was **just awesome** and I'm a savvy car buyer and strong mechanic and I can spot a car-lie a mile away, and I experienced none of that typical BS. The place and culture are great. The owner is obsessed with Porsches. He does it in a manner that's classy and jobs of fun. Funndamentally they are just good people.

The cars are just awesome. And they are honest and follow through. I can't recommend them enough. Thank you Derek, and the owner and the finance guy and all of the above. A++++!

The experience was great! They really went the extra mile in service and they offered a very fair price for the Audi A7 I purchased. The salesman Kurt was easy to work with and enthusiastic to help me get the car. 10/10 would recommend. I will probably be reaching out to them soon to purchase another vehicle. Not to mention the finance manager worked some back end wizardry and helped me get a very very good rate.

I am so disappointed that this place is exactly what you would expect from a "used car" dealer. We recently purchased a car while on a road trip and was told by "Boyd" that the spare key would be mailed to our home. One month later, I called inquiring about the keys and I was told "sorry, there are no keys." Followed with a text telling me that Boyd doesn't remember the conversation and would never say that. Also, they would not take responsibility because they don't make a lot of money on consigned cars? Okay.so I'm just a customer making up a conversation that was had?

And now you're not going to fix the situation because the car was "consigned" and you would lose money? I don't know what planet this would be considered customer service. I'm not trying to get something that wasn't promised. Save your time and energy and do not buy a car from here. Just go to a legitimate business that will actually take care of you and make sure you are a satisfied customer.

I've been in contact with Kurt for the last few days regarding an older vehicle that I want to purchase Kurt has been very patient and informative sent me many many photos Kurt is a very honest person even tough I did not buy the car I was very pleased with his service and honesty! Kurt is the man.

I bought a vehicle from this place about two years ago, I got the extended warranty with my purchase. Almost inevitably, vehicles have issues. My particular vehicle has been in and out of the shop a few times, some would not call that a great experience, but the service I've received has made up for the time without my vehicle. They have bent over backwards negotiating with the warranty company to ensure that I come out of pocket as little as possible.

They saved me many thousands that was going to be paid to BMW Murray. All I can say is that I will be buying more vehicles in the future through these guys because they take care of their customers. Much unlike big dealers, namely Tony Divino Toyota in riverdale (who will never get my or any of my acquaintances' business again)

I was looking for an extremely rare auto (only 3600 total sold in the U.S.), and these folks had it. Like new condition, a very fair price, a generous trade in allowance, no-BS, and a laid back sales approach. This the most pleasant car buying experience I have had in years.

Yes, I used to work for former U.S. Senator Jake Garn. He had a saying he used to quote often, "You are entitled to your own opinion, but not to your own facts." My daughter did not hit anything on the road. That is your imagination, excuse or rationalization for the fact that she had a blow-out and we were informed by the "manager of Costco" that there were 2 different sizes of tires on a all-wheel drive Volvo that is suppose to have all the same size tires.

We were assured by your salesman that the tires were like new and "all good". Clearly, that proved not to be the case. I believe in Karma and what you put out comes back to you. So, bottom line, I feel sad for you that you have to lie and make up a totally false excuse to cover for less than acceptable product and service.

I was in the market for a midsize luxury SUV- and came to specialties during a quick break from work. The sales person was extremely knowledgeable and had no hesitation lining up three (Audi Q3, Landrover LR4 and BMW X5) vehicles for me to test drive (bonus points for not riding along- it's just awkward!) Ultimately, I decided I liked the Q3, but needed more room, I stalked their Facebook (great updates there) for a couple weeks for a Q5, with no luck and bought elsewhere- but have since recommended this place to potential buyers. Great to have no pressure and they really do get in some of the best conditioned vehicles.

BUYER BEWARE! We purchased a SUV that had a few issues that were to be repaired. We had some scheduling issues with their "busy" shop and were assured that the problems could be taken care of. After the 30 day in-house warranty had elapsed during our scheduling, they informed us not to worry and that the $3,200 dollar ELITE extended warranty they sold us would cover EVERYTHING.

That was the furthest thing from the truth. The repairs were declined by the warranty scam company. After several attempts to address this with the dealership, they agreed to pay for half of a used part if we signed a waiver and promised not to litigate. It gets worse. Within a few thousand miles, the "new" tires on the car were totally destroyed due to rear alignment issues.

The dealership then told us they do not do rear alignments. So why do they sell 4 wheel drive Mercedes if they can't and won't do the basic safety work? The life's of those in the car were in jeopardy due to their admitted negligence. That cost us another $1,200. Also within a few thousand miles the brakes and rotors needed replacement.

That cost us $700 dollars. It makes us wonder if the brakes were even up to spec at the time of sale. We are wondering if this is even legal. The dealership sold us the "best" warranty they had and it turned out to be a total misrepresentation. We asked that the warranty be both pro rata refundable and transferable upon a sale. They assured us that it was.that was the reason for such a high cost warranty! Secondly, this high cost warranty was supposed to have covered EVERYTHING but wearables like tires, brakes fluids etc.

In fact, the small print basically says it is not transferable, not refundable in any way and won't cover costs over $3000 in costs, such as an engine, transmission etc. We trusted them and failed to do the basics such as read the small print. Now they can read ours. The Elite Warranty is based out of Springville and is a TOTAL SCAM. When I called Elite they laughted at me, said to read my contract and then hung up on me when I was asking questions.

Due diligence indicates they are no less than a local towing company with the manners of repossession professionals similar to classless reality TV characters. Save yourself some misspent trust and money and AVOID DOING ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP and their Towing buddies at ELITE in Springville, Utah.

Excellent place to purchase a vehicle. We bought a 2010 Mercedes Benz from Boyd H. He took care of all of our needs and wants and more. Our factory warranty expired the day we were going to purchase the vehicle. Boyd did everything he could to ensure our happiness as customers. He sent our new Mercedes to Garff downtown and got everything fixed over the weekend and call us the following week to come pick up the car.

We were shocked at the car and how awesome it looked and Boyd even threw in a brand new set of tires on the car with out us even asking or saying a word! I highly recommend this place. They treat you like you matter.

They're pretty good for the most part. My in-laws all really like them and have had great experiences so that tells me that they are usually a great option. My Wife had them change the oil in her Volvo and a few days later while looking for an oil leak we discovered that the drain plug was ready to fall off. Everyone makes mistakes and i'm sure it was a fluke this one time, but that could have been disastrous and cost us a fortune to repair. For that costly of a mistake, I have to give a low rating. Attention to detail is too important in mechanics.
