We LOVE TAGGART MOTORS! Moving to Portland 26 yrs ago and living in many cities all over Texas throughout our life's, we have dealt with many GOOD car companies with full mechanical services! We have found that TAGGART MOTORS is the BEST of the BEST in our great state of TEXAS! Unexpectedly finding ourselves in need of an enclosed trailer, we traveled to nearby Corpus Christi. We discovered internet searches produced inaccurate information as two lots we visited did NOT have any trailers in their inventory. Exasperated, I called Taggart's and inquired if the information on their website was correct and I was kindly assured it was.
We left Corpus and headed into Portland, hoping we had not been led astray. Upon arrival we could see an array of trailers and quickly received help from a sales rep. After considering three different trailers we selected one and made our purchase. Our sales rep, Hunter, and the manager, Pat, both gave us calls when we were nearly 1000 miles into our first towing journey to see how the trailer was performing as well as to make sure we were happy with our purchase.
The entire experience was low pressure and painless. The staff seems genuine in their desire to keep their customer happy even after the sale. I have no doubt their commitment to the customer does not begin and end with trailer sales but with all they do; as a result I would be comfortable recommending Taggart's for any service or product they provide.

I have been a customer at Taggart Motors for almost 20 years and just purchased my 4th vehicle from them. As a "more than middle aged female", I have 100% trust in these guys. Pat (Sales Manager) is honest, caring and has integrity. I know that he would not sell me a vehicle that was not dependable. I basically handled this purchase via telephone calls since I have moved to the Highland Lakes area and just stopping in, was not an option.
I could have purchased a vehicle in Austin or San Antonio, but when you trust a small town dealership, you continue to buy from them. I arrived at the dealership and Raul (Salesman) walked up and said he would pull the vehicle around so I could test drive it. My Edge was even nicer than the photos. Test drive was great. I went back in and Cullen (finance) had my paperwork ready for signatures. If you are looking for a dependable used car, give Pat or Raul a call. These guys will go out of their way to take care of you.

Back in 2016, I was out of town for work reasons and had several issues with my truck. I called my service department back home and told them everything that was going on with my truck. They came back with a crazy quote for parts and labor. I called the Taggart service department and they quoted me a much lower price. I was skeptical but really had no choice.
As you can see, I wanted to give it some time before commenting to see how my truck does. So here is my review, their service Department was friendly, honest and informative. I told them I was in town all week so no need to rush. (they had it ready in two days) And they saved me nearly 1000.00$. So to sum it up, Great people Great service and I would recommend them to anyone!
