Very decent dealership if you are buying a car in Maryland. Our sales representative was Brandt. He was very respectful, friendly, and knowledgeable sales man. This dealership does not charge any extra $$$$ for new car sales and not pushy even a bit. We did put in a factory order for a vehicle and the vehicle was delivered in around 3 months. Highly recommend this dealership if you are buying dodge/jeep/chrysler vehicles.

Stopped by to have a warranty issue looked at. We are still awaiting for our reply from corporate. My review currently is strictly based on my interaction with Ryan from the service department. We had no idea how to go about getting the warranty work initiated; Ryan walked us through the step by step process and helped us get the ball rolling. Ryan was very courteous, helpful and a delight to work with. He is a real asset to Thompson Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Harford County. We look forward to our follow up with Ryan.

Terrible experience the service department tried to tell me I needed rear brake rotors and pads and the front brakes were fine. Actually I needed front rotors and pads and the rear was fine. They wanted me to pay a ridiculous price for the rear brakes and I didn't need them. So glad I took my vehicle elsewhere and found an honest mechanic to tell me and show me what I really needed.

I recently purchased a Chrysler Pacifica from this dealership. Had shopped for many months and knew exactly what I wanted. My goal was to find all the existing new Pacifica inventory within an hour's drive of home and try to negotiate an out-the-door deal solely via email. Thompson was one of seven dealers I contacted and it was by far the most responsive of the bunch, along with the best price.

Absolutely no surprises or hard upsell treatment. Paperwork processing and vehicle pickup was also smooth. My thanks to Rick Schofield and his team for being really honest and efficient. Give them a shot at your business if you're in the market for a Chrylser/Jeep.

I was there for nearly 6 hours for a oil change. I came in with a coupon for an oil change for $20. They told me that it would be double the amount for my car. I was fine with that. Don then told me that my wheels were on too tight and that I needed new lug nuts. I agreed at first because I was already tired at that point. After about 10 minutes I realized that it was going to cost more than I had on me that day so I went to the service desk and informed Don that I no longer wanted the lugs done.

I was going to do it some other time. Another hour went by and he came back to me with the bill for almost $160. I was so confused as I came in for a $20 oil change only. I asked him why was my bill so high and he said it was for the nuts and the oil change. I explained to him that I didn't have that much money and I had already told him that I didn't want the nuts.

He said I didn't speak to him regarding not installing new nuts. I told him it was definitely him I spoke to. Another guy came and started asking me questions. By then I felt uncomfortable. I explained to him that Don was the person I spoke to and told I didn't want the nuts. I told him to roll back the camera. They ended up taking off the new nuts and putting the old ones back on.

Which was fine but my concern was why were they stripped and is putting them back on safe and will it affect my car's handling. He said it SHOULD be ok. That to me was not a guarantee. He said I probably won't be able to change my tire if I got a flat. I felt like I was dismissed at that point. I have been doing business with dodge for years. But I will never come back after this visit.

This was yet another horrible experience at a Jeep Dealership. After waiting about two weeks for a part and for my car. I had to call to see if it was done. When I got there after driving over 2 hours in traffic, I got in and the check engine light came on. I thought it would go off and I proceeded on thr hour and a half trip home. When I got home my car stalled out again, and had to be towed to another Dealership.

Now I have been without my car for over a month. I called to find out what they did or didn't do and never received a phone call back. I've called three times only today was I able to get through only to have them send me the maintenance report. If you need your car in working condition go somewhere else. They literally only got one star because they were nice but that could have been because I was in my military uniform.

I have had three vehicles serviced with this center over the years. The staff used to be helpful and professional and the service was completed thoroughly and in a timely manner. I now find the staff here to be rude, dismissive and loves to nickel and dime the patrons. I recently took my vehicle to this service center by appointment on a Wednesday for routine maintenance i.e oil change/tire rotation.

I was told that my vehicle would not be ready for a few hours. Minutes later I was told that my vehicle would have be kept over night. After some strong insistence I was offered a rental car from enterprise. The vehicle that was provided to me was the worst. It had service lights on in the dash and made the most horrible noise when pressing the brake.

I called the next day to check the status of my vehicle and was told that my vehicle would not be ready until Friday maybe Saturday morning. At the same time I was informed of the large bill that would be attached to these services. It appears that every time I encounter this center I leave owing a couple thousand in service fees. When I returned to pick up my vehicle I was met by the rudest lady at the payment counter.

She looked as if she was packing up to go home and I was a bother. She didn't seem to know how to check me out and after I expressed that I did not appreciate her attitude and would file a complaint she changed her tone. Finally a female service manager arrived to handle my check out.

After having bought dozens of cars at dealerships over the years, I had lost faith in cars dealerships. Always an angle and I never left a single deal feeling whole. The sales manager Jim and his sales associate Mike have restored my faith. There are dealerships with good ethics! Jim and his crew are proof. They were very respectful of my busy schedule, no finance games and honest, great pricing. I hope that Thompson takes care of Jim and his team. They are a first class act that any dealership would be proud to have representing them.

Our son has purchased 3 or 4 cars here over the last 13 or so years. We (mom and dad) flew out here unexpectedly and needed to buy a vehicle after my husband was rear-ended the afternoon before our 6am take-off. He had to have medical treatment here and we needed a vehicle to use while here (east coast) (15 months) and when we got back home (west coast).

So we went to Thompson Toyota and were able a purchase a great new Highlander! We have been driving back and forth every year since with never any problem. Our daughter who lives in Metairie was hit by a hit and run driver and the car was totalled. We were at our son's for Christmas and our daughter flew up too. We checked in with Thompson Toyota and were able to get her into a good used car.

And now 2 years later, someone ran a red light and totalled this car. We just purchased a great used Honda Civic with a lot of bells and whistles with her insurance settlement from the accident. Again, great service! They go out of their way to work with you so you can get a deal that is good for both you and them.
