Purchased my genesis three months ago. Several days ago I received a check for $500 dollars as a veteran's discount refund. When I signed the contract, I didn't notice that the veterans discount was not given. Thank you Angie for being so efficient that you caught the error. Great customer service. Also some advice. If you are going to get a g70, pay the extra money and get the "prestige" model. You will not be sorry.

They have you finance a car, while someone else is financing at the same time, makes you add it to your insurance policy, then boom, the car is sold to someone else. I've been here for 2 hours just to be told it's someone else's car, so I basically added someone else's car to my insurance policy what a joke. Saying that everyone is "fighting" to get this one car when yet they just wasted my time.

Literally have a payment already for the car insurance for the truck that's someone else's cause they just went under our feet and sold it to someone else. Next time I'm def going somewhere else next time cause they are time wasters. Obviously shows theirs no communication between sales people on the floor and that's a joke. Walt and Tracie were honest and helpful on the other hand. So if you want honest go to tracie. They got us a better car then we originally wanted so that was a win. The loss was my time and patience.

I always bring my Honda to Sean Kikuchi for service. I've never had a service person treat me so well. I know that I can trust Sean to give me the appropriate advise about my vehicle and he never makes me feel as though I'm dumb for not knowing. My experience at Tony Honda Waipio has made me very satisfied and in return I will never take my 2020 civic coupe to be taken care of anywhere else. They wouldn't accommodate to simply get tow hitch cover missing on vehicle I got approved of and was putting down 10k cash in addition. They said they can't because vehicle as is when it's a 39k mileage 2016 fiat. No deal. Take my business else where. It useless trying to get a deal with them. I guess they need to squeeze every penny from customers. Customer service is below standards. I would rate no star if Yelp would allow me to.

This place is the only place I'll trust to take my Honda in to. Super easy, incredibly helpful and friendly staff. I've never felt cheated or uncomfortable in any way. And the service they do is excellent. Had an appointment for oil and tire rotation and had a concern about my AC socket, Jayce M was able to have a team find what was wrong and get it taken care of at a reasonable price as well. This company is very fortunate to have service techs like this.

This is my first trip to Tony Honda Waipahu. It will definitely NOT be my last. I am always impressed and grateful for exceptional customer service. From my phone call to schedule a tire check to leaving with an explanation I felt comfortable with is extremely important to me. Thank you Tony Honda for the amazing service. If you're at Tony Honda to buy a car, they're great! Hence the extra - But after you've gotten the car and the team has made a sale, all customer service assistance goes out the door. First, they say someone will call to schedule an appointment for maintenance package you added on - no one calls you. I call 2 months later and I was told "you're supposed to call!".

Then they couldn't get ahold of the specific person, so they said they'll have them call me back. No one called you back, so another few weeks went by and I had to call - again they say someone will call, and AGAIN no one does. When I finally scheduled an appointment, a couple days later I received a voice message from the service team saying they needed to schedule an appointment (this is about 5 months after I've purchased my vehicle).

I had to call to confirm that the initial appointment I made a few days ago was already scheduled in which it was. On the day of the appointment i drop my car off for servicing and I go into Honda to have the paperwork forwarded to me via email to keep in my Google files because I don't carry all my papers with me. I was directed to see Michael D. - he was so unapproachable!

It was as if asking for help was an inconvenience. He wanted me to come back later (3hours later because my car was being serviced) with my paperwork to scan because he didn't want to go through the documents in the system. Because only certain documents I'm supposed to have. I'm just a customer, you are the employee who should know what I'm supposed to have.

Just scan it to me. After waiting 3 hours I want to just leave and go on with my day and get out of your guys way. The need to exceed customer service experience is basically non existent! I gave 3 because the receptionists are always so nice and pleasant when I call.

The only reason I am giving Tony Honda 1 star is because I have to in order to write this review. We came here for a routine oil change and OMG they lost our KEYS. Lord knows how long they were looking for them considering it usually take only a half hours to get this type of service done. We were here for 2 and a half hours and got a SORRY and a $350.00 bill I love that they do have Starbucks coffee in many flavors, good snacks and candy.

The restroom is very clean and lots of room to wait for your vehicle. We would have loved it if they didn't leave us in the dark and was upfront from the beginning that they couldn't locate our keys. Honesty is the best policy Tony Honda. Thank you Josh for finally telling us our keys were lost. Going back to Toyota.

Tony Honda is wonderful! (Waipahu) 10/10 on customer service! My wife and I were looking for a new HRV so we messaged on Facebook about 10:00 P.M. not knowing on the response time, we got an almost instant reply! I spoke to a wonderful person Maria and she answered some questions and got us in the next day! Which was her off day! She was super cooperative due to my wife being at work and her and I commuting in small conversions.

Her be so understanding of the situation wasn't pushing us and trying to get her sale, but trying to help us. She went over all car details (the good and the no so many bad) which we found absolutely wonderful as most people just go for the sales. She was super helpful and words can't describe the wholesomeness of her! I would recommend to anyone at any age.

Because she will guide you in the right way! Thank you Maria for all your hard work and dedication you have with your customers! We will definitely be back one day! The HRV is perfect! We absolutely love it!

I would have given minus 5 star when I took my 2018 Honda CRV (purchased in mainland) on 4 April 2022 for a B1,2 service and got taken for the biggest ride of my life to the tune of $784.17 for a oil and filter change and cabin/air filter change along with tire rotation and replaced wiper inserts. I initially told the service advisor that all I wanted was an oil and filter change.

I declined the 30k maintenance but was told that I would have to sign a declination, I assume in case the vehicle was damaged due to my declination. I was kind of misled by the young female service adviser and based on my experiences at multiple other dealerships, I assumed that major maintenance at 30k included all fluid /filter changes (oil, brakes, transmission, differential) and measurements of brake pads in millimeters so I agreed and signed the work order.

Rest of the vehicle inspections were things that in my experiences were normally included in the free multi-point inspection. FYI, I waited about 2 hours for the service to be completed and was charged $531.65 for just the Labor, and the rest was parts. Everyone, just please beware. I am going on 74 soon so not as sharp as I used to be but still know when I have been scammed.

Biggest rip off ever. Sent my wife to do an oil change, and this guys scammed her to doing charging my break fluid and transmission fluid. Now tell me why would you recommend that on a 2017 Honda Civic. Second if your gonna change the fluid meaning flushing my whole transmission, why aren't you changing the filter. It's like changing your shorts with out washing your butt. It's still dirty.

Had a great experience getting a new family vehicle today. The associate Darlyn was extremely helpful, informative, and patient. She even helped us learn more about a past purchase. She was very caring and responded quickly. We are so happy with our purchase and would love to come back in the future. I'm so glad to being doing business with such caring people.

Called before going down to see if they had a Civic SI to look at. Was told they did but I couldn't test drive it because the only one they had available had a deposit on it. I told the salesperson that was fine and told her I would be there in 20 mins if that's okay. She acknowledged and told me to ask for her when I got there. Got to the dealership, the receptionist called on the PA that she had an appointment waiting.45+ minutes later (yes, I was an idiot to wait that long!) and she never came out.

No one told me anything. I walked out. Maybe it's because I just wanted to see the car since they had no other SIs available). I can tell you right now, if I liked it, I would have been more than happy to put a deposit down. I'll go to Windward and hope I don't get treated this way. Can't give zero stars but I would if I could.

Poor service from the finance department, we have canceled our gap insurance and extended warranty November 23,2021, it's March 16,2022 and they still have not processed the cancellation, resulting in us paying interest on a few extra thousand dollars Will NEVER do any business here

I went there with two trade-in vehicles. Two great individuals greeted and helped me. I loved the car until I was initially told that I am responsible for a "RESTORATION" fee ($4K) in my trade-ins. It was funny at first, but they were serious.now I'd like to know what other dealerships does that? Nonetheless, there were negotiations, but I did not get the vehicle. Negotiations went all the way up to a couple of high Executives; I'd instead not mention individuals I worked with; I respect what they do so I decided not to put their names here, unless required or further discussion.

If you enjoy getting the run around and having them sell you a broken car, this is the place for you. We bought our car in December and 2 weeks later already the check engine light is on. We are now just being put on hold for an hour before someone just hangs up. Don't trust these guys with your hard earned money, they will just keep finding ways to shift any blame. Edit: My partner received a call from Larry Moody, a manager I assume, stating we should be happy with the amount they are covering.

Still not agreeing to pay everything from the warranty. Also followed up with "warnings" that our complaints will get us no where and we should take the deal. Glad our complaint was followed up with threats and attempts of bullying. Very sad, we really enjoyed our sales guy Miles. Everyone else has just been a let down.

I just purchased a used Nissan Altima recently and only had 2 electrical key. I inquired in person at your parts department and was very impressed with the service provided by parts salesman Elvis. Scott Matsuoka, the finance and business manager was outstanding. His demeanor was professional, yet friendly. He made us feel very comfortable. He was very informative and helpful. Usually, finance managers are gruff, brusque and are only out to sell you more stuff. Not Scott. He was trying to save us future money and headaches. Our visit to the dealership to buy a car was long and arduous. Scott was the highlight of it. We can't say enough about how good he was. We will come back to Tony Honda only because of him.

Just picked up our new Ridgeline and I'm a fan of Tony Honda. Our last three cars are from here and we couldn't be happier with their service options and our salespeople. I reached out to Ed Dun and he helped me out to make this process as easy as it could be. As a mom of 4 young kids, I didn't want to have to have any of them sitting in the dealership while I filled out paperwork if possible.

I was able to come in to meet with Ed and put my deposit on the car I wanted and do the rest on the phone and computer. This was perfect for us and Val, our parts specialist, was also able to help us via phone. Buying a car isn't always fun but having someone make the process easy and work around my needs made it a very nice process. Ed even took pics of cars on the lot to show me the parts!

Something I totally appreciated as I tried to decide what accessories to add. As far as servicing your vehicle goes, I absolutely love that someone will come to my house and pick up our car and take it in and bring it back. No more waiting at the dealership with antsy kids! I hope they never get rid of this service because I am a customer for life because of this alone! Mahalo again to Ed to helping us get the perfect truck for our needs!

Very nice show room and waiting area. There are a variety of seating options to accommodate different preferences or customer's limitations. They had coffee or hot tea available. They also had a big screen TV. This helped me stay comfortable while waiting.

I like how they are so up-to-date on the scheduling of the maintenance of my car. Cause we've been busy everyday, the emails they sent plus the messages reminder helps a lot! They're fast service and great customer service are the best! You can see how they value each customers as a family. Last but not the least, I love their waiting area.

Although more pricy since they are a dealership, I usually go to this dealership to buy or service my car since it's still on warrantee. I usually get Sean Kikuchi to service my car, and he is top notch. Today, David Pagan was assigned to assist me, and he is excellent as well. 4 out of 5 service reps were professionally excellent at explaining and trying to find in store discounts or if it can be under warrantee when I need to service/fix my car.

While waiting, they offer starbucks coffee, Kirkland tea and packaged small snacks at a kiosk in the sale room. Waiting room is now in the sale room, and it's clean, following covid procedures such as hand sanitizers at every station, clean and used pens to use, plexiglass barriers at the cashier's and payment desks, mandatory masks, tables and chairs socially distanced for those waiting, and since I am very paranoid, there are also a few tables and chairs outside to wait for service to be done. Even if you are in the store, they will still call you when your car is done.

Wouldn't fix my vehicle recall. I recently tried to get a safety recall fixed, but the service dept. wouldn't repair it because my 2003 Honda Pilot was assembled in Canada. It's just kinda weird because Honda is a Japanese manufacturer and their cars are made all over the world. I would hesitate before choosing to the this particular dealership.

I finally got me a car after our truck started to give problems. I told my other half that it was my turn to get something. I was introduced to Ed who was the salesman who helped me from the beginning.p I was shopping for me and my other half was on Kauai working since I live here now. Ed was really patient and honest about everything we went through.

He answered all my questions. I had my eye on either a civic or accord which I was looking more for saving gas to and from work since I live In Ewa. I fell in love with the Honda Accord Sport. The civic was parked next to it, and I got to sit in each one to see how comfortable they were. At the end, my choice was still the Accord which won my heart and my eyes! I owned an Accord years ago and I always loved them. This car is ME! I love it! Thank you Tony Honda Waipio, and Ed and the entire crew for all your Aloha!

Completely amazing service from Moi Mabalot and Maria Balicoco. From putting the deposit for our TypeR to driving off the lot. such great service. Moi has excellent communication and correspondence. He always kept us in the loop and up to date with the vehicles arrival. Maria made the sale so efficient. With Shane as the loan representative- easy and friendly. A little overwhelming to check in. Drive right into one of the four lanes, hop out, and one of the many people will check you in. Sitting area is large with many different types of areas to sit: couches, table tops, barstools. Checking out is easy, counter is around the left from check in area.

I previously bought a Honda CR-V here, and was well pleased with the buying experience, due to the pandemic, the buying experience has changed dramatically. For example, in order to test drive a car or truck, they ask for your drivers license and auto insurance information. Then when you qualified, they bring the car up to the driveway and go over the features of the car, before sending you off on your adventure. Luckily, I was able to test drive by myself.

The salesman stays behind. I think they have gps system to track your whereabouts. Upon return, the salesman meets with excitement. The buying experience went smooth and I had control of the whole sales. Overall, I came out with a 2020 Ridgeline, in 2021. I can say I got a great deal and got a great deal with my trade in. If you ever in the market to buy a honda, see salesperson Maria B. She can work her magic.

Great experience with great prices. The sales people were very friendly and helpful. They offered snacks and drinks while we waited and discussed options. They did not pressure us and we always felt comfortable asking for more information on the options. We worked with two different sales people, however, both were great. I really appreciated the 'no pressure' atmosphere and reasonable prices. In the end we made our purchase and have since enjoyed the car. Thank you Tony Honda!

I have had two car problems in the last two months with my 10 year old Honda Fit. Thankfully Mark at Tony Honda has been exceptional to work with. Just earlier this week my car was towed to Tony Honda and really things could not have been any easier. Called Tony Honda to give them a heads up my car would be in their lot in the AM. First the next morning Mark called me to discuss the diagnostic fee ($160). Turns out only my battery needed to be replaced!

Even better, they did my safety check for $25 (especially given it had expired 3 months ago.). I especially like how many COVID precautions they are currently taking-no handshakes, hand sanitizer easily available, plexiglass barriers at the cashier's desk, mandatory masks.
