We provide the best dealer education in all of California. Our in-person classes are offered in 39 cities and we conduct more classes than any other dealer education provider. TriStar Motors LLC has been a provider of dealer education since 1998, CCC 0004, and the first approved for continuing education in 2001.
We provide you the ability to operate your dealership within current DMV guidelines. You get to sit back and relax for 4 to 6 hours of dealer education (renewals 4 hr/ pre-licensing 6 hr). We will have you review your dealership with a series of questions and at the end of the course we will provide the course completion form.
We will provide you a complete course of dealer education. To receive your TriStar certificate of continuing education you must review our DMV approved curriculum and pass our quiz. Renewals are mandatory every TWO years. All materials provided, including study materials and handbook. LSP may attend, we need salesperson license number (S with 6 digits) with expiration date.
We are proud to now offer Home Study Classes for our California DMV Approved Renewal Dealer Education Course. You must take a continuing education course once every two years why not take it in the convenience of your own home. Please Note: Wholesale Dealers with sales of less than 50 cars per year may file an exemption.

Took the online pre-licensing class with Azita. She was a good teacher and my attached review of the course says it all. I was disappointed to be charged $35 for another original certificate of completion mailed to me (1st certificate was lost, either by post office or LA inspector's office in my first application to the DMV). This was like 35% of the total cost of the course, which seems unreasonable.

When I called my bond provider for a duplicate original copy, they asked for documentation (DMV rejection letter from when I mailed the unoriginal photocopies to the LA inspector's office the 2nd time). They sent me a new original bond free of charge.
