Buying a used car here was delightful. I came from far away, so most of my process was via email/phone/text. Ashley was responsive and awesome, as were her support team of Sam + Sal. When I got to the dealership, it was clean, hospitable and super friendly, and not at all pushy or pretentious.

We just purchased a 2019 Volvo XC60 from Volvo of lisle. Great experience and our product specialist Ashur Merza was awesome. Excellent, stress-free and pressure-free experience with Volvo of Lisle and our salesperson Freddy Merza. Excellent communication on the availability of the car we wanted, quick follow up to emailed questions, and once the car arrived to the lot, everything was ready for us when we came in to test drive. We received the Volvo loyalty discount and a fair deal overall. Freddy was made sure we were happy with our experience, our car and our price. Sal in financing clearly and efficiently explain everything and presented optional warranty and coverage plans without pressure to buy. The process from arriving for the test drive to driving it off the lot was about 3.5 hrs, which included financing approval and signing paperwork.

I recently worked with Bob Makowka to purchase a vehicle for my son and the process could not have been easier! The dealership was beautiful and the service we received from everyone we worked with was terrific. Bob is very knowledgeable and no pressure. AWFUL PLACE! FREDDY in Sales- would expect his behavior from a used car lot where he belongs, but not from Volvo! Do better Fred! He boasted several times about not needing anyone's business today because of low inventory. I was told "you find a car somewhere else; go get it." Was hoping it was a language barrier but I was so, so wrong. Horrible treatment, shame.

I wish I would have listened to him about going elsewhere, because that was the ONLY truth he spoke! Scott the Sales Manager, needs to go back to Management for Dummies. He didn't finish the book. Despicable treatment by him that was caught on camera. Service: Had a BRAND new car in shop three times in one week and could not fix the car. Let me sit for 2 hours before I demanded a loaner cuz Ole FREDDY kept saying it was a 5 min fix! In the end the car was retuned because it never worked! DON'T GO TO VOLVO OF LISLE!

We really appreciated our experience overall with Volvo and specifically with our sales person Chris. He started by asking us what was most important to us and really listened to our wants. He did not pressure us at all and was extremely knowledgable about the car we were interested in. I took my car for warranty work, kept if for a month, not one call from them whole month with any update, people who answer phone very unprofessional, i had to call myself multiple time with promises that i would be called back with update, returned my car dirty, and a scratch on paint, employees here are not helpful at all at service, i dont suggest buy or service here.

5 Star says it all. I worked with Ashley. We had clear communication from the start, I had no surprises. I was offered a reasonable trade off value (mind you it has to be lower than what they can sell, so have reasonable expectations there but some dealers offer 25% of potential sale price!) Processing time is relatively quick for a sale involving financing. I applied to Volvo finance and git pre-approved online which also saved time at the dealer. With improved digital signing for most paperwork, the rest was really quick.

All around a world class experience working with Volvo Lisle team. Chris Gough was amazing from start to finish and Sal was a joy to work with as well. Having dealt with numerous car dealerships over time, this was far and away the best experience we have had. I have no doubt we will be back for more. Excellent dealership! Professional, courteous, helpful and friendly. It has been a year since we purchased our used vehicle from this location. My 19 year old daughter was purchasing her first vehicle and the experience was flawless. They were all very helpful from the very beginning of our search. The vehicle we bought was a 2011 and it did not come with any warranties.

About 2 months after we purchased, there was a small coolant leak. (I don't remember exactly but it was something somewhat minor and had to do with the hose) The dealership was under no obligation to repair this but they handled it with no cost to my daughter which was a huge relief for a college student on a budget. We have not had any other issues with the vehicle within the last year. I will definitely look to this dealership for our future vehicles (new or used)

Our XC90 was making a strange, intermittent metallic-sounding noise from under the chassis. Brought it to Volvo of Lisle, who took the time to identify the noise, trouble shoot the problem, and fix it properly and in a timely manner. John was terrific to work with, and I have no hesitation whatsoever to recommend him and the service staff at Volvo of Lisle to anyone!

I purchased my Volvo on a lease in 2018. I was treated fairly at the dealership and the price was fine and the two times it needed service during my lease they were very accommodating. However at the end of my lease and I had purchased a package for dings and minor dents at the beginning of the lease and apparently the dealership forgot to notify the leasing company or neglected to do so and didn't notify them of the package I had. they charged me $250 for a couple of little scratches on the back tailgate and on the door of the passenger side.

I questioned it because I had purchased this platinum package and they notified me that the dealership had not notified them that I had purchased it and just to go back to the dealership. For two months I had conversation with the dealership in Lisle regarding this package and everyone agreed that I should probably just have them reimburse me either the package or pay the 250 one or the other since it was never utilized.

At the end of two months they basically told me they would not help me and I had to pay the 250 in addition to the package that I had paid over 200 and never used. they handled me very nicely up until the end and I was contemplating leasing another Volvo but this absolutely turned me off to the idea. I would not recommend the dealership nor will the leasing company.

I bought my first Volvo from them, great experience. As leases ended or life changed which required a bigger car etc. they were most unresponsive and paid very little attention to detail. On two occasions I ended up getting immediate responses from other local Volvo dealers and made quick purchases both times. even though they were 20-25 miles further from my home.

If you want a long-term relationship with a salesperson or dealer. I'd look at Patrick Volvo and avoid Lisle for sales. Lisle service center however is pretty good, thus the two star rating. instead of one.

I went in for a oil leak on 6/8. I have a 2012 xc60. Being going here for 9 years. After waiting 2 hours, they came out and said it would be $390.00. I told them the car the has had the same problem twice before. So he went and checked out the history. And said that I was right. So they would fix it for the third time, for free. I also told him it needed an oil change. So, I was asked if I wanted the 90,000 mile maintenance.

I had a 15 percent off email. I asked what this included. He said changing all the filters, topping off the fluids, and checking out other things. So I asked him if it also included rotating the tires, and he said yes. So I told him to go ahead. After waiting 5 hours, I got the car home and noticed that the tires were never rotated. So I checked the engine air filter and it was never changed.

So for $336.00 dollars, I got an oil change and a new cabin filter. So I called the service manager and asked for some money back. He told me no. So when I got angry with him, he hung up on me. I've been going to this place for 9 years for service and this is how I got treated. Never again!

I have had amazing customer service from the service department. No one is ever pushy but genuinely caring about any issues my car has had. My recall was dealt was fast and I was on my way as well. I was waiting for service and overheard Tommy who i think is the dealership manager talk to his sales man in such a respectful tone and i could tell her cared so much for what was going on and noticed details they didn't but pointed it out in a way that it was great.

As someone who has been around a good manager and a awful one i can spot a good one right away in how you treat the staff and customers. He came over and said hello quickly to us waiting and I could tell this was the way it always was inside. I love my volvo and will make my next purchase from this dealership as well.

Wow what a sham--don't waste your time with their used car dept. I went in to see a used car that was on the lot for 6 weeks and they said they give em such a long inspection and it wouldn't even start, key wouldn't work.why wouldn't anyone be prepared and take pride in their cars for sale-- I think they didn't make any fixes cuz they were gonna stick any unlucky hardworking person with a problem car- they don't care and no follow up from management-bad- many other dealers to choose from

Let me start by saying that as a (former) customer service professional for over 20 years, I was surprised that this dealership has such so-so Yelp ratings. But as I always do, ultimately I check things out for myself. I heard about how wonderful the people at Volvo Cars Lisle were by former co-workers, but I have to say.having experienced things for myself, that awesome reputation is very well-earned. First, I saw the vehicle (2016 XC 90) pop up in my notifications, and I let it sit a week or two before I got up the courage to contact them and give it a shot.

As Volvo is my favorite car brand, I wanted this car BADLY but I admit I wasn't sure if I should get one until my wife convinced me to treat myself. The prices are a little expensive. but these are Volvos, so you're paying for quality for sure. I never have an issue paying for quality and for great service. So this past Saturday evening, I initiated contact, and to my surprise, Mike Ruiz reached out to me right away.

We established my interest in the vehicle, and right away he worked with me to find a way to get me in the car. Mike not only was able to find a GOOD finance company, I got a great interest rate. The best part, Mike and I did all this while I was at home! We got the deal done before I even got to the dealership. Anyhow, when I got there, Ashley walked me through the rest of the process; the test drive was great, she is quite knowledgeable about her Volvos.

I must say. Ashley is a total sweetheart.she made sure I was taken care of and because I was in a hurry, helped get me in and out in less than 90 minutes. She is a consummate sales professional, and I have no problem whatsoever referring anyone I know who happens to be looking for a new car to come see her. So if you want great service and a fair deal, please go to Volvo Cars Lisle.

Worst experience! I've been a customer of Volvo since 2014 and I have never had an issue like this. I scheduled a service appointment and requested a loaner car, when I get to my appointment (I arrived early mind you) they don't have any cars available for me. I have an extremely busy schedule and I don't have time to reschedule or to deal with this! They need a better system as to booking service appointments and having loaner cars available for clients.

Volvo of Lisle can't update their website for their new hours. Their website continues to accept appointments and send out appointment confirmations for service outside of their business hours. I fully support them limiting the hours they are open. But the service tool needs to reflect their hours. I drove 62 miles yesterday for an appointment that was after they were closed.

When I spoke to them today, they are not able to update their website and told me that I need to know what hours they are open before I schedule service. So, it is my fault the available appointment list shows hours outside of their normal working hours. No more Volvo's from Volvo of Lisle. Go somewhere else! They spent millions of dollars building a new dealership, but they can't figure out how to update a website. Ridiculous.

Nice new facility, same disorganization that always existed. I booked my service online as suggested, got there and they couldn't find my reservation. Additionally, the service was supposed to be covered and they "couldn't find the paperwork" that it was. Two hours later, I left without the service. Waste of a day off. Don't bother with Volvo of Lisle.

Just go to Volvo of Tinley Park, they won't let you down. I should have saw this coming two years ago when I made an appointment to see the car before purchasing and when I arrived, I found they let a service person drive it home. who lived 2 hrs away. What?!

The service department at Volvo of Lisle is incredible. Between the valet service, the loaner car, the communications, and the follow-up, they are the best repair shop I've ever worked with. The technicians over worked with are friendly and knowledgeable and - as far as I can tell - fair. I've had an older Volvo- that I bought out of state - as well as a brand new one I bought there serviced.

In both cases, the staff have been fair and friendly with both. They've done good work on my cars. But it's the extras that have made them stand out. Wash and vacuum my car. But the valet service has bent over backwards to work with my schedule. Really impressed and highly recommended. Also made me feel like they actually care- something I've never felt at any other dealer. Thanks!

After being a Volvo of Lisle customer and spending thousands of dollars to maintain my XC90 over a period of over 6 years and 150,000 miles (I drive my vehicle for business around the country), I decided it's time to move on. My satisfaction has gone downhill over the years and this last visit was the final straw. When I make an appointment for an oil change, I always do it online and get an emailed confirmation.

Quick and easy, and never had a problem before. This time when I pulled into the service bay, I was told by the advisor that there were no technicians available and making an appointment online 'doesn't work that way' even though I had an emailed confirmation with the proper date and time. I drove through an hour of rush hour traffic to make that appointment, and I just about flipped my lid when I was told that I shouldn't have come for an oil change that late in the day even though: A) I made an appointment with confirmation number. B) That was not the first time I've made an appointment for an oil change that late in the day.

There are other things that added up to my decision to stop going to Volvo of Lisle including occasional rude and inattentive staff, misdiagnosed problems that caused multiple return trips due to inattentive advisors. If you asked my for my Yelp review for Volvo of Lisle 5 years ago, I would have given them 5 stars. Unfortunately no longer the case.

Love my Volvo! Getting service done today, their waiting room is phenomenal. When its time to replace my Volvo this is where I'll come. Great overall dealer.
