Outrageous prices, damaged my truck on side step aluminum deck, the only reason why would you bother to come is if you are planning to go in a vacation and job needed is covered by warranty, otherwise a hard skip.

Brought batteries from them on May 27th 2021 had to take the batteries out of my truck to bring them over because they are under warranty. Jason the service manager wanted to argue with me about the batteries being dead henceforth why I brought them in. We got to a point to where here was suppose to have them charged so he can check to see if the batteries were bad or not.

The were dropped off on Tuesday the 25th at 1245. Went in to see what was going on Friday the 29th at 1030 hrs Jason stated to me "that I haven't had time to check on them because I am busy with other things but I will get with you by the end of the day", well the end of the day came and went and never received any message or anything thing from him about my batteries. I guess this is the great customer service that the service department manager gives to his customers. The parts guys were ten times better and helpful to me than Jason was.

Phenomenal shop, in pandemic times we have make "new adjustments" to shop turnaround times. One of the injector cups blew on March 24, they said it would be seen on April 4th. They not only looked at it early but got it road ready 4 days early. Bob the foreman, leads an exceptional team, and is a great human who just wants to see good done in the world. And the driver lounge ain't too bad either lol fully loaded: laundry & showers.

They lie to you just to bring your truck and waste your time they told first come first serve within a day or two days should be good and it's been there for 5 days now and they tell me I have to wait another six days to check it up Don't use them

I had such a great experience. Bob Johnson(service foreman) is such a nice fellow and really helped me out. The night mechanics did a good job fixing my truck. I highly recommend this spot!

Awsome services took me for oil change right away also $100 cheaper than any kenworth dealer. My old truck they were only dealer to fix my screen on dash last year. SALES here is DIFFERENT negative story.

Don't trust the work at this Kenworth. Came in for a PM service and the Mech removed my fuel cap and my headlight dust cap from my T680. This Kenworth is not trustworthy to be doing business. In Illinois

I've been coming to this dealership for a couple years now and in the last year and a half it has become progressively worse. The prices have sky rocketed compared to their competitors. Their employees look over worked. I have noticed that people have left the company and they have NOT replace them which makes for longer wait times. I used to not mind having to wait but the lack of care from management is obvious.

They don't care about wait times as long as they get their money. They should care about over working their employees because soon they won't have anyone there to make their money for them. For a dealership your size to only have 2 countermen for your morning rush is not smart. I swear there used to be 4 morning countermen but once again I think they left and were never replaced-typical of a corporate business nowadays, the management overworks the employees they do have.

I bid whoever goes in there after 5pm good luck with getting their parts-bring your dinner with you, you'll be there a while. The wait times wouldn't be so long if they hired more people. Wish I could give negative 5 stars

I blew a heater hose.3 hours from time I arrived until time I drove off. JX Across town said, it'll be 2 or 3 weeks before we can get to it.

This dealer is honestly the most disgusting, dirty dealer when it comes to parts. They will charge you for cores even if you give them the old part. Andy in the counter would not tell you that the core has to go through a core inspector. That inspector leave at 3pm and if it's the weekend you have to wait for that guy to start on Monday and see your core.

Just to make this clear I purchased a EMC for a trans for 2174.36$ that amount is not enough for them. PLEASE BE AWARE WHEN YOU TAKE YOUR CORES AND ASK FOR THE CORE INSPECTOR IF NOT THEY WILL CHARGE YOU FOR THE CORE. NO DEALER HAS EVER DONE THIS. GO TO CIT IN BENSENVILLE MUCH BETTER SERVICE.

Had to tow truck with a huge coolant leak on Sunday night. Monday morning service department was very prompt to take a look and repair it. Didn't notice any sign of trying to rip "arm and leg" off ( having experience with other dealers taking enormous advantage when they see out of town truck was towed in). Was done by 1 pm same day. Huge thanks to service department!

It was terrible. I usually get great service and reasonable prices. Today it took five and a half hours to get PM service and have a seat replaced. Then have them try and over charge me $400. Totally unexceptable.

Rating doesn't go low enough! They don't qualify for 1 star. Service department managers just out right lie about having parts and saying that someone is working on it right now. Don't bring your truck here, you will regret it if you do!

I wish I could give CIT trucks a 0 star review. Went today to buy a truck and it was not the same truck as posted on truck paper, false advertisement. Looked at a different truck, test drove, worked a deal on it and the salesman backed out on his word after the money transfer went through. Started home with the truck, not 10 miles away, fuel gauge quit working, check engine light came on and when we called the salesman back he wouldn't do anything about it. I didn't take it back to see what the problem was because I don't trust their word or their shop.

Absolutely and without doubt the worst KW service Dept in the country I've experienced. I was having SCR/DPF issues, additionally I felt my truck was burning excessive amounts of coolant, so I brought my truck to CIT Kenworth in Mokena thinking this should be an easy fix. NOT so, CIT misdiagnosed the problem and started to run inspections that weren't even relevant to the problem the truck was having. CIT Truck charged me $400 to inspect for LEAKING coolant which I knew WAS NOT the issue and they also charged me another $350 to check for an Exhaust LEAK which I also knew WAS NOT the problem.

Furthermore the tech who worked on my truck had removed the side panels which are secured by six (6) bolts as part of his inspection, yet when he reinstalled the panels he only bolted three (3) bolts per panel causing my side panels to rattle when parked and idling. Honestly if I can't trust a service department to properly reinstall 2 side panels how could I possibly trust them to do any work on my trucks.

All said and done, CIT charged me over $900 to fix NOTHING on my truck, they never found an issue, and told me there was nothing wrong with my truck. Within a few hours of retrieving my unfixed truck I was having SCR warning lights appear on my instrument cluster. Anyhow this story has a happy ending, the following week I drove this truck clear across the country to Inland KW in Phoenix AZ, within a half hour they were able to properly diagnose the issue, my software was out of date i had version EF10083.16 when the current software version was at 19, additional a DEF filter needed to be replaced. Inland KW fixed my problem within a few hours and I've had no issues since. STAY AWAY FROM CIT KENWORTH MOKENA, they ripped me off.

Service department is terrible. They don't return phone calls. Had a truck of ours for over 3 weeks with no returned phone calls. This isn't the first time this happened, but it will be the last time we take a truck to them. We picked our Kenworth up last week. It was there for oil leaks and an PTO leak. I roll under the truck, its still leaking just as bad if not worse.

The PTO is still soaked with a huge puddle under it over night. Charged me 6 Grand for basically a power wash which was garbage as well. They left a ton of bolts loose under the dash repairing an air leak. Now the truck will not start. Cannot get them to call me back to fix this problem that they caused. It now has Air leaks, oil leaks, and won't start.

We had a truck there previously for brake problems, had the truck over a month, no phone call, no email. I made a suprise visit. Truck was done. Got in the truck to leave, dead battery and ABS light on. Now I finally understand why they don't take credit cards if the bill is over 2k. Only certified funds. Don't worry CIT, Ill get my money back.

If u r an o/o never buy a used trk from this co. And never take a trk in there to be worked on I bought a used yrk from them and it has not ran a full week since I bought it so I had it towed back to them 1 month later they called and said they fixed it so we picked up trk drove 30 miles and it still was not fixed called them and told them an hour after I pi led it up and they told me it was my fault I had trk washed so they had it towed back their shop 2 days later they say it needs new clutch this is after they hung parts on it say that was the problem just picked up yrk not fixed but they chargsd me for diagnosis to the tune of 900 more after I had already paid them 1500 when they told me it was done service manager just laughed so if u need work or a trk do not buy from cit ever
